(Please take time on reading this..) Algeria is a African Country. The countries there are not so good in volleyball except their Men’s Volleyball Team. Their government does not support Volleyball much, compared to European and Asian Nations. For me one of the factors why they lose is lack of international experience. Second, needs to recruit taller players especially blockers. And how fast they move like Thailand. For me instead of making them feel the worst players as others said, try to encourage them, like how PH cheered for Timor Leste in SGames. Losing is a healthy process in order to succeed they must know what to improve. No worries this is young team, can rebuild and train harder to qualify in international leagues like FIVB. NO ONE KNOWS IF THEY’RE THE NEXT POWERHOUSE TEAM!!😊

Listen, I'm not saying my team could beat Algeria's. There's a reason their team was qualified for the International League, it's just that Serbia was so much better overall. I have a long way to go in volleyball, so take this as constructive criticism, but these are just the few things I noticed during the match. First, Algeria's receiving is really bad for International standards. Second, their wing spikers blindly spike the ball, and they don't pay attention to Serbia's blockers at all. Third, there's no teamwork - notice how in one of Serbia's serves, 2 players ran for the ball on Algeria's side? That means they're not in tune with each other, and the same could probably go for the rest of the team. And fourth, their blocking is sub par, look at how many spikes they let through from Serbia. But the fact that they tried their best is still great, all they need is a little more experience.

@@reynerl5830 Because I play a lot of sports I know that it takes time to be that good. You said the team might be up there in 3-4 years. From what I understand, you're saying that the team could go head to head with teams like Serbia? I'm saying that it's impossible with the exact same team. Yes, they can compete better and perhaps get > 15 the next time they play. But they won't be able to beat them just because they trained in the right program for 3-4 years. The top teams have trained in the right program way before they started. If "up there" means something different then I guess we don't really have anything to talk about.
@reynerl58304 жыл бұрын
@@Exclavirus99 you play a lot of sport?? Yeah right tell that to yourself. You play some sports "MAyBE" but you don't play full time like in a national team, so no wonder you didn't improve at all. Ive never seen such pure courage and braveness from the coaching staff unto the players in a volleyball game before than this. It amazed me seeing their lack of prep and stuffs, amidst fighting against number 1 rank best team in the world. Many of us are arguing why they're there and how terrible they are.. we forgot that all strong teams came from this kind of level, yeah shameful from the other sight but for the Algerian, (not speaking as if im one), its a very proud moment for them to represent and to fave a giant despite of losing, they've already won by not backing down. The Algerian team are still on the process, most of them are under 20's and still learning to improve, but this is volleyball and other sports is all about. Its not all about the face and dignity of the said tournaments sake, its molding each teams by facing to become better. Reading terrible comments of seems like assumptions of being perfect, atleast ALGERIA COMPETED AND THOUGH THEY'RE DEVASTATED BY AN ALREADY HONED TEAM, THEY'VE SHOWN THERE TALENTS AND POTENTIAL TO BECOME BETTER IN THE NEAR FUTURE. When you play volleyball for 15 years, and some guys/girls ask you on the beach to play with them...ohh god, they gonna hate me SO MUCH...

Why many people are putting the Algeria team down? This is FIVB Women’s World Cup to be with. Your country did not even made it here so stop the hate. If you love Volleyball, you should love and respect for each player. #nohatejustsaying #peace

Much respect to Algeria. They went out there and just play!

honestly respect to Serbia bc if you’ve ever played a team way below you it can be really hard to not get lazy and drop to their level. Serbia stayed consistent despite the lack of competition.

Their basics are really good. They are just two years of high level volleyball behind to get to a decent level international team.

Their spiker doesn’t really jump high and put a lot of force in spiking, but I think they probably feel so down losing 2 sets. More practice is the key and floor defense

I wouldn’t exactly call them bad or anything. Clearly they have skills but they seem to lack practice and international experience. Their receives aren’t that bad, considering they did manage to receive some jump serves. However, to me seems like they don’t really communicate well within the team. They don’t look in sync. There was even one moment where two players almost collided because they both went in for the ball at the same time. I hope they practice more and make a great comeback!
