Puzzle three's answer should be thorns, and here is why. The Pumpkin pie and the dirt add up to the item id of 403 which is just an enchanted book and not specifically curse of vanishing. The thorns answer could also be taken from the dirt which is related to plants, and the missing pie slice in the pumpkin pie has the same shape as a thorn. The armor stand only having a chestplate represents how the enchantment table can only put thorns on chestplates. The lava below the armor stand is connected to thorns because the thorns hit sound effect and the lava pop sound effect are similar. Now for the signs. The first sentence on the signs is "I'm a reflection of anger and fear." this represents how thorns will do damage if you are attacked and being attack would most likely cause both anger and fear. The second sentence, "I can hurt those you hold dear." implies thorns because you could accidentaly deal damage to someone, without meaning to if they accidentaly hit you, and if you have a pet that attacks you, it could die, without you wanting it to. The third sentence is "somtimes I can be absurd, but sometimes I am simply a word." relates to thorns by the fact that thorns causes you to loose your armor durability at a faster rate which is completely "absurd" and the fact that the enchantment can still be triggered by ranged attacks, despite that making no sense. The "I am simply a word." part just references how the enchantment name is only one word long and you don't have to shorten it in any way. For the third puzzle, thorns would also work. It reflects back the anger and fear of another player, and hurts those who try to hold you. It might be absurd to some (having thorns on armor) and is a simple word. It’s an enchantment that goes on any armor and hurts, which works for the armor stand and lava. It works for the dirt because thorns are on plants, which are grown in dirt. It also works for the pumpkin pie because some pumpkins’ vines have thorns. Ik ur probably not gonna see this, but there’s the other answer I thought of.

Puzzle 3 : I figured the answer was "Death". Think about it. Curse of Vanishing only works on a player's death, and causes the item itself to "die" (vanish) The image of death was represented by the armor stand on top of lava itself Now the signs. "I'm a reflection of anger and fear." Death can be inflicted in anger, often times actually But death can also induce anger, as in resent towards death itself or maybe putting the blame on something that doesn't really make sense but blaming it anyway out of grieving anger. And the fear of death is quite common, be it fear of our own death, death of our loved ones, or death in itself. "I can hurt those you hold dear." Literally, it can hurt them by killing them. That, or simply by killing someone THEY love and thus hurting their feelings. "Sometimes I can be absurd-" Death can be ridiculous, like surviving the entire world war but dying by slipping on ice or by a falling flowerpot. It's as ridiculous as that. Or when a player dies in hardcore world - think of Philza's S2 world, he died from a spider and a baby zombie after 4 years of never dying ever. Absurd, won't you agree? "-But sometimes I am simply a word." Death is a word. But I would more commonly point towards words that imply death. Like "goodbye" or "adieu" which can be said by a dying person or a person about to kill taunting their victim. It can also be said by someone to the tombstone of their loved ones as their final word to this person who died. Now, if you want a more technical meaning to death being just a word, I'll give you one good word... *Avadakedavra* !! Death can be but a simple spell, as illustrated by Harry Potter's infamous killing spell - which, unlike the equaly famous Wingardium Leviosa, is one single word which aims to inflict death. If you want to look further into clues that make half sense but are worth noting, the dirt block could refer to where we come from and where we return. Dust we are and to dust we return, born from the dirt and to the dirt we return. It can also reference a dead person getting burried 7 feet below, in dirt and below dirt. The pumpkin pie can give a halloween vibe as you don't usually use pumpkins on other occasions than halloween, and halloween is the time for horror movies like Child's Play, Saw, Scream, The Purge... All related to death. The pie itself can also refer to a grandma, an old person whose death is around the corner, representing the fact life will expire. And further in if you're that insane, a pie can be poisoned in order to kill. Hence, I think Death could have been an equally good answer as Curse, if not better to be honest now that I explained everything. Hope you like this little explanation :) you asked for a matching answer and here I gave one, hope you're satisfied!

During the initial test, there was a group of us who were analyzing everything, There were a few people who thought the word was beacon in the first 24 hours. We thought that was too easy and moved into a private voice channel. I don't think anyone from the channel wants to say anything so I'll make a list of a few things we did. 1. We reversed every part of the last 3 videos that Boosfer released in 20 second clips slowed down 5x. 2. We took the audio of a weird sound and made multiple images with it using popular programs. 3. We found a weird green screen with tons of dots of which we edited and tried to make out any codes that could've been used. Nothing showed up but the dots did match some letters of braille and SGA. We thought it was the key to the puzzle because when the group chat leader tweeted it to Boosfer, Boosfer retweeted it. 4. The dots looked like a multitude of different letters which only fueled our belief. 5. We (I) tried to figure out what the dots were by using a total of 21 different codes and ciphers, of which some had similarities but never came up as anything coherent. 6. We went to the link in the desc of the video to find a link to a channel that Jack has a relationship with, which seemed to be some type of ARG, but we dismissed it. 7. One of the things we did with the audio (I don't understand it myself but I watched the guy do it) Sounded like something from Halo, We checked and there is apparently a song called "The Trials" that sounded close to what the new audio was. That's just a few things we did, The group lasted for around two days at most before everyone left, we thought we were doing some Cicada 3301 mystery stuff

For the first puzzle, I was...actually stumped for a bit. But the blocks under the platform and the corners were a nice hint. Netherite and Ancient Debris are found in the Nether. Glass and Obsidian are related to the End. Composter and Emerald Block are connected with villagers. Iron Block and Gold Block are parts of a beacon. Next part: "You could bring me home to your place, but I'm not sure there'd be enough space". Bring home the Beacon advancement/achievement. Beacons take up a lot of space. And you can bring it home. So, I'd say beacon. Edit: I never paid attention to the flowers...I used process of elimination. And, yes, all of the corner blocks can be made into ingots. I just did "what do the corner blocks and the platform blocks have a connection to?" That's how I got to what I did. Keep up the great work ^^

For trial #3, I thought the answer was "thorns". This is because when on armour, the armour reflects. Angry people will punch you and get hurt, instilling fear in them. If a friend jokingly punches/high fives you when you have thorns, it hurts them. In certain situations thorns can easily kill whoever's trying to kill you, without actually attacking them, which is absurd. And "thorn" is a word that can describe the enchantment, something on a bush, or it can be used metaphorically, as in: "you are a thorn in my side." So "thorn" is the only other answer I could think of for Trial #3. Great video though! I love the content and it always brightens my day.

Good puzzles are those which don't just suddenly lead to you applying a random fact about a clue in the puzzle... The information is implied which gives you a path to the right answer... glad to see someone else agrees, these "puzzles" were 80% red herrings and garbage, willing to bet the dude made the solution first then worked backwards because some of these logic leaps are Olympic levels, and this is ignoring the fact that you would need a modded or hacked client to get all the information (an un-reachable sign, and seeing specific letters through those cobwebs certainly needed optifine zoom). Its dumb but people claiming to be intelligent for stupid stuff like this really grinds the gears. I can guarantee you noone who passed any of the trials used the same logic as shown in the video

also the fact that the answer is "guess the fact that you need to use morse code, use a translator, guess where to stand based on random trivia, guess what to do with a random string of characters, then randomly look at a sign in a very specific position for absolutely no reason" is beyond stupid. these dont read as puzzles to me, more flashy sequences of barely connected _things_ that can be read out loud in a video to APPEAR clever.

Wither roses, netherite, ancient debre and the warped signs. Beacon is also good tho. Beacon has a direct connection to the wither so i think we had a similar thinking process. Also, for when it said that you could take to to your home but you probs wouldnt have space,the wither is big and it is very hard to trap the wither because it blows everything up. Edit: I was wrong but i am not super disapointed because i took barely any time to answer it and i am very young

here’s some signs, you didn’t actually choose beacon for first answer because 1. Edited 2. No explanation 3. It’s correct where none of your others are remotely close 4. Some people are like that
@niels9473 Жыл бұрын
I actually DID get the first one right, and here’s me defense to your points. 1. Yes, it is edited, because I commented my answer before the actual answer was given in the video, and I also wanted to put my answers for the next riddle in this comment. 2. The “bring home the beacon” reference was really obvious in the sign, so I thought no explanation was necessary. 3. Why would I lie about the easiest one, when I could’ve lied about multiple, or a more difficult one. Plus, it’s really difficult to figure out the other ones in such a short period of time when there’s not a really obvious hint, plus you can’t just look around for a minute and search for the clues that Boosfer didn’t talk about yet. 4. Well, I’m not like that, so stop being a little bitch and assuming things about someone you don’t even know because they got a really easy riddle correct.
@mikaylarhodes59982 жыл бұрын
You could make this into a whole series! Hear me out... Do multiple of these videos. Don't let the first place winner(s) of the previous videos compete in the new ones. For puzzle 3 I thought of vengeance or revenge. Reflection of the anger and fear of being wronged or betrayed. Revenge often ends up hurting the ones you love in one way or another, by either collateral damage, or further retaliation. The ways people take revenge can get quite out there, and words themselves can deal significant damage. As for the hints a story came to mind. Two players on a survival world, one thought it be funny to trick their friend into falling into lava with a dirt block. The victim dies a loses their enchanted armor that they worked really hard for. As "revenge," the victim gives the other player a poisoned pie. 11:20 it can be a ghast because 1. it makes fear and angry noises 2. It's absurd 3. It's a word 4. As the chestplate was standing above lava it connects with fire protection enchantment which sometimes makes you invincible in lava and note ghast doesn't take damage in lava
@gannaeissa9320 Жыл бұрын
The pink question room has multiple correct answers: 1st - ancient debris is the only block that isn't in the overworld so it matches demands, and the second is diamond block, as it is the only block that can't be smelted out of the selected 4, standing out enough to be correct. Same thing with the enchantment question in the previous stage - it can logically be at least 3 things: curse, thorns or taxes.
@thediamondstampy64722 жыл бұрын
The enchantment on chest plate could also be fire protection so the answer could have been fire because fire makes people angry and some people also fear it because they fear loosing their items when they die in a fire. Some people also find it absurd because they enchant their armor with fire protection instead of protection.

i am guessing (before watching the rest of the video) that the solution to puzzle 3 is the thorns enchantment, since on the sign it says i am a reflection of anger and fear and when you hit someone when they are wearing this enchantment, you get damaged. the enchanted chestplate was also a hint for this. the pie and the dirt is kinda throwing me off but I'm still locking in this answer.

That puzzle was way easier because the only way boosfer could've taken redstone output out of furnaces is comparator. Mumbo jumbo would've won that in 10 minutes, because there are big gaps of the same redstone strength, just guessing is enough.
@devindeocharan83232 жыл бұрын
Indeed, once the lime room was completed and the furnaces found, people who know Redstone well could do that. Probably not 10 minutes, probably 15 - 20 minutes, it took a second to click for other contestants.

The answer for the third riddle could also be thorns. We start the same way. We now need an enchant book. Anger and fear could mean thorns since thorns enchantment in minecraft is something that is used when you have fear of other mobs or used when trying to put forth your anger of someone killing you. Thorns also connects to lava since a cactus destroys all of your items when you die, jut like lava and a cactus has thorns. Hurting those so dear can mean just that you are having a PVP match with a friend but they get hurt due to the enchantment. The absurdity here is how the cactus can literally destroy a netherite ingot due to its thorns but even lava nor TNT can. And its only word thing is when you search it up in a dictionary. 2 definitions. One being that it is a sharp woody projectile and the other for it to be a Bush. And a Bush is just a word. This can be an alternate answer for the third puzzle.

My thought for the 3rd puzzle was imidently "" because; - You're hurt by berry bushes because of their and the bushes can be placed on dirt (dirt block) - It's an enchantment, and it hurts/can kill you(Enchanted armour & lava) - Pumkin plants can have thorns on them (Pumkin pie) - "", "Prickly" or "Being a prick" are things that can describe someone sour, cold, or rude someone can be like this due to anger and fear (1st sign) - When someone is labeled as "Prickly" and it's because of anger/fear, they can react badly to people around them and for that person it may be an unusual, or absurd behaviour for them (1st & 2nd sign) -Prick can also just be used for someone doing something annoying, without the deepness of it, making it what some would call an empty word, or just a word (2nd sign)

Good spectacle, somewhat amateur puzzle design. Solid B! 🙂. Vague or arbitrarily obscure don't weed out clever players, but lucky ones. That said, each player did demonstrate their cleverness! It'd be cool to see a more structured rule set about how hints were obtained and how they affected your score, such as each hint adding more and more time to your final score, same list and order of hints for each player per room, etc.)

Puzzle #3 alternative answer: “book.” “I am a reflection of anger and fear.” Writing reflecting the emotions of the author. “I can hurt those you hold dear.” A good story can make you genuinely feel bad when its characters suffer- in other words, it can hurt people emotionally. “Sometimes I can be absurd.” Some stories make no sense. “But sometimes I am just a word.” ‘Book’ is, in fact, a word. Also, a one-word book could exist- although it wouldn’t be very good. I still got the “enchanted book” part, but interpreted the chestplate falling into lava as “removing the enchantment”- leaving only the “book.” Edit: Currently at about 20:00. Thinking the code is 25-55-4-14. Y is the 25th letter, 55 is obvious by now, 4 carpets, and the item ID of gold ore (the block that VISUALLY stands out) is 14, the only ID which is a possible answer once 55 has been entered. This solution uses all 98 coal. Final edit: Alright, so I feel like the green room not having a number was a bit BS and we didn’t even get to see the Y level until someone figured that out anyway. Even then I held out until the “no puzzle” thing because why would green be 28?? Turns out, no reason. Well played Boosfer
