I like Baroque and Classical music on original period instruments instead of modern instruments. For example, I like Mozart and Bach on harpsichords instead of pianos. Interesting construction. It looks like the body top wood is part of the neck down to the 12th fret, and it is much smaller than I expected. It looks even smaller than a modern parlor acoustic. Is it a shorter scale length? I am surprised at how loud and full it sounds despite the small size. I also like the darker phosphor bronze and nylon strings over the bright 80/20 bronze strings. I prefer these guitars to the larger country and western style dreadnought acoustic guitars since I am a smaller person. And those guitars are really just for loud chords low on the neck, I think, as many lack cutaways so it is not easy to get above 15th fret or so. I like the design of this guitar. I just wish it had a cutaway. But please do not change it. It must stay the same for another 200 years. :)

Yes it is tuned in standard tuning. The 6th string is tuned to a lower D for this piece
