This one checks all of the boxes. The space that my wife & would have to do crafts plus plenty of craft supplies storage is fantastic.Don’t have toys so won’t need fuel tanks, the patio needs to have a side step also, the step getting into the garage needs one more rung or in other words a four stepper, nothing that a handyman can’t fix. Just need to feed my half ton pickup some instant grow up to a Ram 4500 CC dually. Josh you done great job on showing this one, stay safe & dry

As someone who cooks I always get excited for a U galley. It's something that I see a lot in the older and smaller motorhomes I am currently shopping that disappears as they start to add slides. Nothing packs more drawers and counter space into a compact area. Its something I wish would come back along with the classic rear living peninsula kitchen 5th wheel. It really feels like something was lost as rv's were able to get bigger in terms of space efficiency. As far as I know nothing like the safari treks I have become infatuated with really exists on the new market. Edit: I really like how they have that solar system setup. The upgraded factory system is very capable but it also uses off the shelf easily accessible discrete components instead of the oem black box systems I see a lot of rv's use. This is very amenable to upgrades and replacing failed components. Whoever ends up with this in 15 or 20 years will really appreciate how easy it is to work on and how non proprietary all the building blocks are. Major kudos to whoever designed this.

As a Valor 42V13 owner, I want to clarify what Josh said about the solar systems on the Valors. He got it right, it is just spoken clearly. All Valors come with a solar package. This package includes 2 panels on the roof (640W) and 1-100 amp hour battery, no inverter and the smaller 40 amp charge controller. With the Solar Plus package (as seen in this unit), there are 3 panels on the roof (960W) and 3-100 amp hour batteries. The Solar Plus also adds the 3000W inverter and a 60 amp charge controller.

I have done A LOT of research these past couple years for when it's our time for retirement. The Valor is hands down the best on the market! Their basic standard and quality features, out shine any competitor. To the 12 volt fridge, lights and outlets. The huge shower, solid surface counter tops, KING size bed and ample storage!!! I ❤❤❤ the Valor. However.... it is too large for our future travel plans of getting into National and State parks. 😭😭😭 I have seen a new concept Valor TT that Alliance is in the process of tweeking...... that could be a possibility?!? Started looking after watching your video and found a Dealer network in Texas/Oklahoma that is purging the 2022, 37V13 models. $74,400 for loaded units with MSRP's of $141k 🤪 A price that low? I made contact and it was legit ! $74,400 plus Destination/Doc fees, SD sales tax, and negotiated price on extended warranty.. final price of $82,126.20 ! Down side: that 12v Everchill refrigerator that has a high failure rate. The Dealer tech found it to be DOA upon the pre-delivery inspection. So now I have to wait an extra 2-4 weeks for a replacement fridge before driving the 883 miles to pick it up !

Love the layout but the size is a problem for us. We downsized from a 40’ 5th wheel to get into more places. I can’t imagine how limiting this would be. I don’t think it would even fit in some of the places we go.
@JoshtheRVNerd2 жыл бұрын
It’s a super valid point. You have to really plan ahead for something this big
@erhodes3522 жыл бұрын
@@JoshtheRVNerd - Yes. With planning it could probably work. We had to plan ahead with the 40’ 5er as there were some places that had very limited big rig sites. I will say, if I was gonna live in one this would be high on the list of contenders given the floor plan and space.
@luissarah43552 жыл бұрын
what type of places? I am new to this and have no idea? Any info is helpful and appreciated
@erhodes3522 жыл бұрын
@@luissarah4355 - Most State and national parks are limited for longer RV’s if they have any spots at all. It starts to get limited after 30’ and really limited after 35’. 40’ and up most of them have few to no sites that will fit them or the roads, trees, etc won’t allow a rig that big. Most of them were built when 30’ was a very long RV. And a lot of the older private parks have limited spots for rigs 40’ and over. At least here on the West Coast. We had to plan in advance to get sites. One place we go every year has something like 400 sites and only 8-10 of them fit an RV over 40’. And a lot of the places on the coast have very limited sites for 40’ and bigger. All of the newer parks are made for them so it won’t be an issue there. I’ve heard other places like Midwest and Texas have lots of places to accommodate larger RV’s. I don’t have first hand experience with that. It’s not the end of the world and you can make it work if you are set on a larger RV. It takes some planning and compromise though. For instance, you likely have to find a place outside of State and National parks to stay and then drive into them. You may have to make reservations a year in advance to make sure you get one of the limited big sites at a place you really want to stay. There are FB pages and sites dedicated to Big Rigs and finding places they’ll fit so there is help out there too. For us, it was too limiting on where we wanted to go. We wanted more options for sites. Both for staying where we wanted but also getting last minute sites for last minute trips. The smaller the RV the more likely you’ll find something last minute. And we really didn’t spend much time inside unless we were sleeping. We are outside 90%+ of the time so the extra space inside the large RV wasn’t useful to us. It just made sense for us but you’ll have to think about how you want to camp and how much you want/need the space versus how much prior planning and loss of flexibility you want to deal with.

I think I just found the best Toy Hauler's. KZ Venom and V series. There made of Azdel, they have Plywood floors and roofs. They have a lifetime warranty on their roof's. And the best solar package of any Manufacture " up to 1800 watts of solar, 5000-watt inverter etc...
@JoshtheRVNerd Жыл бұрын
Not trying to argue, but for clarity: ► "They are made of azdel" - using it in the walls a bit, but it's not pure composite construction ► "Lifetime warranty on their roofs" - This is a dangerous thing marketing teams sling out there and if you had the opportunity to review the details of what that actually entails, then you'd know why I feel that way. That phrase implies maintenance free roofing. It's absolutely not that. It has the same seals and requires the same upkeep as everything else. And if you cannot PROVE you did that, then your "lifetime roof warranty" is null and void. The warranty covers the membrane only - not construction of the roof or any of the other materials like the trusses. That warranty also prorates down so quickly that after very little time it covers a little bit of no money on a repair and replacement. The big solar package is awesome of course and I'm excited to see MFGs headed that direction! Again, not trying to be difficult or confrontational. But with that kind of money on the line I want people to better understand what they're actually getting.

How tough is it to have another axle put on your rig? If I had this,I’d want a hottub. There more room on a floor for furniture off the back but if it doesn’t matter to the person,off the side would be okay too. It depends on what you want to do on the porch. Oh sure. Bigger means larger truck, more attention to navigation, and fewer sites available. Also means fewer sacrifices inside. All depends on what you're looking for I think

Nice, but too much for me! I like Alliance RV's but this for my tastes, is not in my target area. I'd rather have a larger living area with this kitchen - think classic 5th wheel - and NO garage... I guess I'm not a toy hauler person is all.

Yeah. The A-Dad-as were retired to lawn duty. My legs/feet were aching regularly. They never supported me well. These under armors are the business man. I bought 2 more pair just like them to keep on hand

There are hand towel hangers with the trailer so you can install them wherever you want. We put suction cup hooks on the shower door for body towels. We bought two of the hand towel adjustable bars that hang over the cabinet doors. One for the front bathroom and one for the kitchen.

@@jamesglenn520 just don't like it. Idk why. Juat something is off a little. Maybe it's the materials that kinda look cheap or the kitchen seems weird. Could be it's a very different layout and it would grow on me. 99% of the rvs in these videos are all the same layouts

@@speterbilt I assure you that this unit is very well built. The cabinets are not thin and cheap like most. This unit is a Full-time Living trailer!! We have been in our 40v13 since December 17th and we are Absolutely satisfied with the design. We walked through Every toy hauler on the market over a 6 month+ period and this product is far better quality 👌 👍
