It's not really the CHARACTERS themselves that people call bad or good, it's just how we use it so for example saitama has the lowest damage output and someone is using him and manages to make a one shot combo, that means they proved that the character isn't bad overall and if you just spam skills you're just really using it for fun or just stealing kills

sonic isn't bad, you just have to play REALLY aggressive with it. For example, you hit someone on the ground, aim your shuriken behind them so they come back towards you, do scatter, and all sorts of things like that. its not that hard to master, but to get used to, compared to other characters, its very different. I think the poll was taken the wrong way by a lot of people as "what character is the most annoying/do you hate" instead of "what character is the worst" and I think the worst would probably be the easy counter characters, like blade master and metal bat. My issue with blade master is how complicated his combos are. I love how fun metal bat is but his m1s are just so slow, you can't trade easily. Suiryu is awesome, but there aren't many combo variations, and he just seems a bit boring right now. Sonic is good and can get you some cheap and easy kills, but it's counter able and doesnt do a ton of damage (doesn't that remind you of the smash character of the same name? basically the same problem.) Genos is cool and you can be unpredictable with it, but jet dive is REALLY predictable and the moveset is tricky to master. Tatsumaki is fun, but the moves all have startups/endlag, which makes it really easy to dodge/counter and really easy to predict. Garou is cool and flashy, but I feel he is just overused and has some very escapable combos. This leaves Saitama, which i feel like is the best character, since, 1) shove is a very helpful move, which can count as a combo extender, and is his fastest move, and it only has (I think) a 10 second cooldown, one of the shortest move cooldowns in-game. 2) he can do a HECK-TON of damage in a short burst. Just doing: m1, m1, consecutive, m1, normal punch, does 50 damage. 3) his serious mode is amazing for getting streaks and getting kills but his main issue is simply that he's boring and his combos don't have a ton of variations, and are all hard to land.
