Here are three reasons why Diana (the Queen of Goosebumps) doesn't sound human. First, she is a contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. She's not one in a million, she's one in eight billion.

They indeed referring to Virtual reality, this show had state of the art virtual reality, every participant got 2 out of their total 9 performances done in Virtual reality because it costs too much to do all of them. Diana did not use VR in this performance and that is what the last guy said, even though she did not use VR she never the less made them travel in different realities with her voice. You should indeed react to more from her, she is easily the best female vocalist right now and she will keep making you lose your mind every time you hear her sing.

for those who don't know, here is a brief Diana bio: she was abused and abandoned as a young child....was MUTE....raised in a Russian orphanage....her adoptive Mum provided voice and singing lessons to help Diana's early trauma....she is a natural Contralto ( rare & the lowest female register ) and polyphonic ( able to produce multiple notes simultaneously )......now she is an incredible vocalist, interpreter of all genres of music and, I imagine, headed for the big screen......

Extra thanks for watching it to the end, we love to relive the jury comments.:) As others have said, VR is a virtual reality tech that they pioneered for the show. It involves many cameras and digital data to bring the whole stage alive. Some of the other contestants had simply mind blowing visuals going on all around them while performing. Hi mate - yes the name of the show is "ShowMaskGoOn", it aired on the Russian NTV television channel. The participants were nine singers, including Diana, who after each performance critiqued and marked each other. There were no judges as such, although each week (it ran for nine weeks) there was a different guest who also voiced their thoughts. The singers were required to sing in different genres each week, (Julia Parshuta, the girl in red, had earlier covered Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody"), so there was quite a variety in styles. This performance was from September 2021 when Diana was 18 (she was by far the youngest of the singers) - she'll turn 20 on 31st May 2023.

Well, you fell into a deep rabbit hole. The last I read, Diana now has over 4 octave range. Her voice is beyond classification. Most comfortable range is Contralto (lowest and rarest female voice type) yet she sings soprano as well. Blessed with extraordinary physical gifts for singing ( longer thicker vocal cords, larger longer lyrenx and exceptional harmonic overtones/ undertones and resonators. Sings almost every genre of music from opera to rap. I appreciate the Era and time that a person from halfway around the world can listen to this exceptional young talented Lady. Bravo Diana.
