3D-audio is just HRTF, even the Sony's implementation. Each people have their own kind of hearing. Sony wanted to make a thing, where they could tone their HRTF closer to each user's own HRTF "map". They just don't have that part figured out yet... So, for you, it might not work at all. To some other it might be good and to some, it might be excellent...

Headsets that claim that it supports 3D audio is just marketing. Any stereo headsets will work. The Ps5 does all the work for the 3D effect.

There a cheaper version called the razer black shark v2X it’s just $60 and it has the same mic and sound but it’s just the ear cuos and the headband are made out of different material all around the headset

Stick with the Arctis Pro + GameDAC wired. As long as you have an optical output from your TV, it will replicate the same sound from the PS4. Never had a need for 3D sound. This headset delivers that sound even before the PS5.

Dont buy the 700 gen 2. The headset has a lot of problems! I had it for 4 hours. Then charged the headset and it never went back on. The audio is fantastic but so many software problems with it.

Great to see you branching out into some tech/gaming stuff :) I actually have this headset and I find it does the job well without breaking the bank. I do sometimes seem to struggle with pinpointing sound direction but I think that is because I play with the headset quite quiet. I wish the "mute/unmute" button was on the cable but it doesn't bother me that much after getting used to it. I have noticed a major sound improvement while using this headset on the PS5 compared to the PS4. What audio settings do you use for warzone?

Haha nice what a coincidence. honestly you can't do much to adjust the settings, but try disabling 3d audio if you play warzone on PS5

I own Arctis 7p and it is amazing. There is an equalizer software on Steelseries site for the type of games you play. Best headset I own and I own both Razor kraken and Sony platinum. Steelseries sound quality is far superior.

I've been following your channel for which headset should I buy for my PS5. I'm stuck with Arctis 1 Wired and Arctis 5, then Pulse 3D. Only thing looks bad to me about Pulse 3D is a mic. Arctis 1 and Arctis 5, which one do you recommend.? Are the sound drivers you mentioned in Arctis 1 and 7 are similar, is it same for Arctis 5.? Can please answer that and give your personal recommendation. That would be really appreciated. My main concerns are 3D audio and Mic quality.

@@jna21 well i didn't get the answer to my question here. But I went ahead with Arctis 5, and based on my own experience both 3D audio and Mic is just great. Steelseries mic quality is always pretty awesome I ws surprised with its 3d audio quality which turned out really great, easily can differentiate the payer position based on the sound. Overall satisfied.

your voice shouldn't be echoing. if it is then most likely one of your friends is playing the game audio through their speakers and its being picked up on their mic

Most steel series are out the box a flat sound. The 3 and 5 series sound so flat and so low you which you had a dac.

@@selimmsahin Arctis 1 wireless ps5 edition is the same as the standard, the only difference is that the ps5 edition has blue color on some parts. The arctis 1 wireless is an awesome headset, just a little tight on my head. If you have a smaller head then it wouldn't even be an issue. The sound quality is basically the same thing as the much more expensive arctis pro wireless and you can use the artcis 1 even on switch!

Yes! Im not sure what in the wiring causes this issue but my solution was to use the “Y” cable that came with the headset. One of the male ends on the y allows you to hear the game but not ur voice but they can hear you. The other male end doesn’t let you hear anything so you’ll know which one to plug in. Good luck! The headphones are lit!!!

Why didn't you review the wireless Arctis 1??? Makes no sense if you're comparing to the 7P. I bought the Pulse 3D yesterday and returned them a few hours later as they caused headaches and nausea! I replaced them with the Arctis 1 WIRELESS and they're great!

It’s was music to your ears. It made me move my headphones off and was like wth. Someone in my room. I played on the Xbox one. But remember hellblade on Xbox had the better audio. Ps4 always lagged behind in sound quality. Didn’t stop it from selling.
