I would say Rap Jesus is a more fitting name for Mack. Doesn't disrespect Em, and makes sense in literal context. That said, Mack is right up there with Em in terms of technical rapping skill. Aside from the complex writing that Em does, there's not really anything Em has done that I haven't also seen HMack do on a similar level or better. Similarly, I have never witnessed Em come even close to Mack's level in improvised freestyle. Still, I don't really compare the two because they are in two entirely different lanes of hip-hop. Neither can do what the other does best at their level; but in terms of technical ability to rap, I would absolutely put Mack right up there with Em.

10,000 Hours = Mastery 20,000 Hours = Ascension 30,000 Hours = GodMode Harry Mack probably hit the 30k hours mark a couple years ago, if you consider his baseform drums and reading a bunch as transferable skills where he was honing his craft. Then, from a neurology/psychology standpoint you have something called "flow state". That is the moment where many parts of the brain essentially turn off and/or are remarshalled to complete the improvisational task. Jazz musicians are quite familiar with this idea. You can often see when harry gets into a perfect flowstate. He seems to be slightly out of his body and is channelling the music more so than performing a parlor trick. With practice, an improvising musician can hold a perfect flow state for several minutes if not far longer.

He also decided to do something that plays to his characteristics, personality and natural strengths, which obviously helps. For example: I never would have been very good at the drums imo, yet I like to think I am a competent guitarist. The instrument seemed like more of a natural strength so that is what I chose(also, a guitar is cheaper than a drum kit and much quieter while practicing lol).
