That was so nice to look at. We have lost so much of those times, and now with the queen pasting. Gezza 1967 Well done.

Seeing Point Lonsdale at the end - following a very different Melbourne than we know today - is reassuring, with Point Lonsdale having hardly changed. It's still a chill place with families, kids and dogs still doing these same quintessential activities today.

This is quintessential Australia. Australian made cars, Australian made population, all clothing Made in Australia and Australian made household furniture and appliances. A time when policemen were well presented and respected. Then came globalism.......

How true. No fat people around. Eating real food. Not the crap people eat 2 day. No wonder hospitals are full. What a money making machine for big pharmaceutical companies.

Our country is F’d now. Seriously I’m glad I at least lived through the tail end of Australia as it once was. How one or two demographics and a shit government can absolutely destroy an identity.

@@jumbo6009 fill it with one group of people from one country (or sub continent) and then they justjust rubber stamp every visa application from their comrades. After all we don’t have enough Uber drivers or petrol station attendants.

Don't forget though that big shops closed 12:30 on Saturday and all day Sunday. If you wanted to buy anything you had to go to a milbar. Made no sense.
