I never even considered where Waterloo is. Of course we learned about The Battle of Waterloo and Napoleon and Wellington. You have an awesome history and I am so happy to have you share it with us. Thank you! 😊

Fantastic! If I tell you where I live, will you and your family come pick me up and go with you next time you go travelling?😁😉 I really do love it that you don't just say, "Well, we went here, and saw this pretty scenery, then we went home." No, you give detailed history of what you see with great shots of everything. I realized about halfway through watching that I was smiling. So fun and so beautiful.

The description of La Haie Sainte farm is very telling; it fell to the French but it was late in the battle so it's impact was lessen but it showed had it fell earlier, the battle of Waterloo may have ended differently. Merci!

According to the French Napoleon actually won the battle of Waterloo. They teach this in school. Shame the rest of the world no the Duke of Wellington actually won it.

I would love, in the future, with some metaverse stuff, that you could put some VR glasses and you would see this exaclty place but from the time period perspective in question, meaning, seeing the battle of waterloo the 18 of June 1815.

Yes, I would like that too

As a member of the British Army this was the last and most famous of all his battles. He was a private in the 1st Royal Dragoons. His captain (Clarke) killed the soldier carrying the eagle of the 105th regiment. I have two pieces of lead shot brought back from the battlefield and they look almost new.

Napoleon was defeated in 1814. The waterloo battle is not that important because even if the battle turns the other way napoleon would still be beaten in the end.

I’m sure the casualties that day would have a different opinion?
