I, like many others, regret my choices. But, at least I now have a spare lithium-ion cell. the piece of disappointment is called Parkside PLKA 4 wireless soldering iron

mine has been great. It saved me on the road, my car blew its rad & I used it to plastic weld it together to get home

idk, i've had one of these for like a year. Works fine. Have used it on a tonne of electrical projects in my van and on my motorbike.

I bought additional heads from AliExpress. Still not arrived, so I don't know if they will work. My problem with the original head that it is melting O_O

just purchase a new tip and voila.

Forgot to mention that in the video. Though, the seemingly E10(?) tip seems quite an uncommon one, and buying a new one off AliExpress would be almost as expensive as the soldering iron. The lithium cell is still usable for other applications.

@@sbkmak It's not that uncommon - i've bought tips from Amazon just fine. though yours looks like the socket came entirely out, rather than just the tip coming loose.

@@sbkmak Browsing a bit around you can find soldering tips in decent price. The "original" one fromt the webshop which the manual mentions is really expensive compared to the soldering kit itself.
