I love how nostalgic this feels for me even though I wasn’t born 30 years ago. Great video!

It's pretty remarkable how an image with some degradation can make you feel like you're in a memory or visiting the past. Whatever creates the good vibes!

Wow, these images look they taken in the 50’s or 60’s! I really like these 👍

Thanks for saying so! Definitely feel that way as well. And shooting and paying to develop + scan the roll was completely worth it to get that last photo of the two kids on the steps. That's an all-timer for me. Going in the portfolio for sure. Thanks for watching!

really enjoy your videos, and a big part of that is due to the quiet presentation, without narration and with quiet ambient electronic drones. most photo vids are cringe-inducing or entirely unwatchable because of an irritating voice-over and/or the predictable and terrible faux-dilla stock music. keep up the great work.

Thanks so much for taking a moment to drop a comment like this, Dan. I know it sounds a little corny but it's this kind of feedback that is really, really encouraging to people like me who are making things that aren't quite the convention in photography KZbin. I've really enjoyed making these videos and exploring photography in new ways, and I'm grateful to have viewers like you as part of the channel and this small community. More to come!

I nearly pulled the trigger on this canon for a long time, then the prices got intense - the colour on the grain is great fun!

I got lucky when I found it at a thrift store in Colorado for $35! I don’t love that it’s 40mm, but the photos I’ve taken so far have been great. Thanks for watching!

Did you put camera ISO on 50? That might help. Thanks for the upload!

I honestly don’t remember but I will the next time! Although paying to develop and scan expired film is a bit of a luxury I can’t afford these days. I have probably 20 rolls of expired film I could shoot but I don’t want to make my work on expired film. It’d just be for fun.
