WOW, $600/month for that furnished luxury apartment in Vietnam! An empty garage studio can cost you at least $1.000 in Westminster, Cali.

Thanks for the vid. Your vids remind me of Kyle Le's (but he's returned to the US). I think the guy from Ninja Teacher channel interviewed a VK guy 1 or 2 yrs ago. It would be cool if you could interview him too (the VK guy) - give an update on his life. I prefer your VN vids over your content from Canada. Take care & safe travels!

Great Price for the Millennium. When I was looking most 2 bedrooms there were $1,100 plus a month in that building The only thing I didn’t like about the building was the elevators didn’t have air conditioning and if you lived on one of the higher floors, it turned into a Suana in those elevators

how can they be boat people if they were born abroad. This only applied to Vietnamese that came by boats from 75 to the early 90s in the late 80s. Nobody use that term any more. Those people are mainstream American now For example my siblings and I; we have houses and savings. There is no need to go to Vietnam and live in a small apartment for $600. You can get here and have jobs.

$600 for a ONE BEDROOM APARTMENT? 😂😂😂 I was in HCMC D1 last September and rented a large one bedroom apartment for 4,800,000 Vietnamese đồng a month ($200 US). It was a 10 minutes drive to Bùi Viện. A 5 minutes drive to District 2. For $600, I could have rented a TWO BEDROOM HOUSE! If you speak Vietnamese, it is easy to find cheap beautiful place to rent! I bought a Honda Wave 110cc for $300 US. I kept it there in a long term garage storage.

@@ontheroad5555 ….no. I try to find a nice well to do neighborhood and drive around them. There’s ALLWAYS a rental house or apartment there. You will see a phone number and call them. They will arrive and give you a tour of the place. My criteria: Quiet neighborhood, NO restaurants, NO karaoke or loud music nearby, NO high traffic. Since people don’t drive into these area much, they don’t have many clients so they are cheap! It’s like having a house to yourself for a month! I plan to go back to VN for 2 months starting in August. This time, I plan to scope out Da Nang. Since I can’t bring my motorcycle from HCMC, I will need to rent a motorcycle there….my method of finding a rental house will be the same. Good luck 👍🏻

@@ontheroad5555…it’s weird, I don’t see my reply to you. it’s gone. Anyway, it’s best to go check out the area first to see if it is quiet (no construction, no restaurant, no loud music). Then you can bargain.
@nganlethikim33
@nganlethikim33 6 күн бұрын
It's TWO BEDROOMS APARTMENT, they just customized one to suite their needs. I agree if you can speak Vietnamese, you may find the possibility to bargain. However, to assess if the price is worth benefits it bring to you, it also depends on renter's requirements, not only the price. - The renting price of Apartment usually contains using gym, pool, playing ground/area for kids, walking area in the apartment complex,...), while House's doesn't include given building facilities above. - Residents living in Apartment complex have to comply with rules (such as sound control, maintain hygiene,...), while living in a house, you may face some annoying neighbors who have no good practice to keep public neighborhood's space clean and comfortable to live. So if a family, a couple who likes going to Gym and/or expects a safe place for family, their kids to play, swim, walk,... and doesn't mind disadvantage of going out to work, to different places will take more time, it quite matches their expectation if renting price's still within their planned budget. I have to say, just in case, I'm the one who like to live in House, not apartment because I want convenient travelling, I just need to ride my motorbike out of my house instead of using elevator down to basement, walking to the place motorbike is parked, scan the parking card at security bla bla... It's great that you found a place where its renting price makes you satisfied, but that does not mean you think that other people don't know what they did and made decision.
