Agreed. I was in Germany before covid and find that most German don't speak English that fluently, whereas the Dutch can speak English almost as a native. But these young Vietnamese German who were born in Germany can speak extremely good English. I grew up and lived in an English speaking country for almost 50 years and I don't think my English is any better than those.

Wow. We got hundreds of thousands of families living in their cars here in the US. Rent is like at least 1600.00 but wages have not changed. It's crazy to see how much better the quality of life is in a lot of other places.

Ive witnessed many people living on the street in Ho Chi Minh too and the common man's life is hard. dare I say this apartment is out of reach for 99% of Vietnamese citizen. Only the elites, or the rich expat can afford this life style. I think you are viewing Vietnam with rosy glasses

@@nguyengia1401 I'm embarrassed to say, bc I haven't seen any modern parts of Vietnam at all. This was cool. I am only saying our housing situation here in the US is dire. I understand there's really a lot of poverty.. Here too.

@@nguyengia1401 you are right. Life in Vietnam for the real Vietnamese is anything but cheap and fun. Try to afford this life when you are earning 8-10 million VND per month; it’s impossible. Life in Vietnam is not easy for real local Vietnamese.

Lumiere Riverside is an awesome place to stay at since it is located between Thao Dien and An Phu. I did a tour there a few weeks back and am contemplating a 2-bedder here too. Hopefully, the metro starts running soon ... that will make the trip to D1 much easier! But why no tour of the condo facilities though? Was expecting a tour of the pool, gym and lounge!
