Agreed. I was in Germany before covid and find that most German don't speak English that fluently, whereas the Dutch can speak English almost as a native. But these young Vietnamese German who were born in Germany can speak extremely good English. I grew up and lived in an English speaking country for almost 50 years and I don't think my English is any better than those.

Wow. We got hundreds of thousands of families living in their cars here in the US. Rent is like at least 1600.00 but wages have not changed. It's crazy to see how much better the quality of life is in a lot of other places.

Ive witnessed many people living on the street in Ho Chi Minh too and the common man's life is hard. dare I say this apartment is out of reach for 99% of Vietnamese citizen. Only the elites, or the rich expat can afford this life style. I think you are viewing Vietnam with rosy glasses

@@nguyengia1401 Not many viet people living on the street compared to L.A or any states in America, and most Vietnamese people own home or inherit from their parent. And yes, I do agree with the part this is a rich areas and most working class people can't afford it.

@@nguyengia1401 you are right. Life in Vietnam for the real Vietnamese is anything but cheap and fun. Try to afford this life when you are earning 8-10 million VND per month; it’s impossible. Life in Vietnam is not easy for real local Vietnamese.

That is a amazing price for that project the owners when they invested 3 years ago pre construction we’re hoping for 1500 usd rent for 2 bedroom or flip for profit The market has collapsed so they are trying to cut their loses its a renters market right now . Facilities and location of the Masteri Lumineir can’t be beat .

@@icoco313 Not a chance, I last spoke with my agent a few days ago and the lowest you can go at this specific condo is USD750 for an empty apartment on a year's contract. AirBNB prices will be a lot higher at approx. 1.2K upwards.

Lumiere Riverside is an awesome place to stay at since it is located between Thao Dien and An Phu. I did a tour there a few weeks back and am contemplating a 2-bedder here too. Hopefully, the metro starts running soon ... that will make the trip to D1 much easier! But why no tour of the condo facilities though? Was expecting a tour of the pool, gym and lounge!

Her 2-bedroom apartment is called Lumiere Riverside, it is approximately 8B VND now or 315K USD. Prices are moving up very quickly in D2 because of scarcity.
