People generally agree that the advantage of having free boots with bonus ms and smite + flash earlier is very much worth it for Kayn who wants to snowball around the same time that he gets those same boots. The bonus smites helps with tempo on a high tempo jungler like blue Kayn, while having flash earlier is always useful for engaging or escaping, which you want as an assassin. Triumph is a rune that sees more value if you plan on going for teamfights over picks, which Rhaast appreciates and he does get on the precision/conqueror tree, and likewise for coup the grâce or last stand (which is imo more likely to see value on Rhaast than coup unless you play for lethality rhaast and can't afford to stay low hp like bruiser rhaast but even then it's a debate) are decent options on him where he might lack the dmg that blue kayn does, but has enough survivability to be able to go for dmg. .... it kinda boils down to the keystone difference based off the form you go. SA is a high tempo jungler who wants to farm fast and kill quick, you want your sums up to be able to run around faster and smite/flash helm with that, and all your runes reflect it. People don't even take ghost poro on kayn even though with sweeper it could be very useful, just because you inherently pick a selfish champion who doesn't want to take the time to clear those wards and just run past them and squeeze in that extra dmg from eyeball collector. Meanwhile Rhaast, even lethality Rhaast to a degree, is a more teamfight/extended fights oriented champion, if you pick him the enemy team is either going to be harder to kill or you're a rhaast one trick/pick the first form you got, and that's reflected in your choice of runes that help with longer teamfights. However at the end of the day you're still a jungler, and as Kayn you really want to start snowballing the moment you get your form, so even then inspiration secondary helps with your sums being up faster. You could argue that you could go for the red tree even here for more dmg, but since Rhaast is arguable picked for his better utility (cc, frontlining and self healing), that extra dmg is less likely to make a difference than being able to have boots for free and get your items faster + having sums up earlier will. Mind you I personally think that if you feel like changing your runes because you disagree with the standard setting you should try it for yourself and see what you prefer, at the end of the day, you're the one playing in your games, not the rest of the playerbase who agreed on those things.
