4 years ago, malf started a gungeon run. He's been sitting in his room ever since. He hasn't gone outside. He hasn't eaten. He hasn't drunk anything. Endless items are what feeds him. He's so powerful at this point, lights are shining from under his door. The only thing I can hope at this point is that his run never ends. If it does... I don't think we could stop him from destroying the world.

In gungeon you can really rely on skill no matter if you get the most op weapons or not since the boss dmg cap requires you to play well anyways ^^ That makes it the roguelike/lite I prefer over others which tend to give you a) a stupid op run or b) items destroy your run completely. In Isaac I experienced this a lot, its hit or miss :D I have around 125h now in gungeon and killed my last past of the 4 with a half heart xD Hyped for trying out The Bullet, which seems to be great but also difficult since you dont get the Swordshots if not full hp.

Then, maybe, remove the path to the Gun that kills the Past, forcing us into beating additionally glitched Lich, that, when beaten, destroys time space continuum itself

The first time I've beat Lich was a rainbow run, my first item was a platinum bullet, so I've decide to do a only pistol run, do ever single chamber I would pick something that would increase the damage of my pistol, so I get flaming bullets, alpha and Omega bullets, the candy, and after that I get a clone, I died on the Lich chamber, and continue my run, my pistol was so strong cause of the platinum bullet, that I was 1 hit killing almost everything, and the final gift, a super hot clock, Lich was a breeze after that

Hey man I read your description, and comments, and felt like saying that this was indeed entertaining but I understand what you mean. I think that showing what items you get is nice and all but it can start to feel empty and repetitive (especially in a crazy run like this) if you dont show the context in between them, to give some sense of progression. Maybe show some more bossfights early on, maybe even some full floors and start to speed up. Maybe put some text like '5 floors later', '3 hours in', idk. But it was a nice video to watch, I dont even play gungeon anymore and was pretty interessing even doe I dont even understand how you can get that strong in this game. Cheers

I take the example you've given, so we have two chemicals that we know do not react together. What does it means for you ? That mixing them is indeed impossible, or that every try to do it has failed BUT we could figure out how to do it later using different means, with maybe new elements or just a dosage so precise we could only guess it right by luck ? Humanity always amazes me. We're like ants in a gigantic universe. How could we know that what seems impossible now won't be possible in the future ? This quote who seemingly defines insanity is right at a certain level, I can't deny it. We have for examples farmers who do the same things every year and who struggle more and more, while taking nearly no initiative to try to make things better. But this definition also bugs me. Because we are very limited in knowledge. We don't even know ourselves really (I think about stuff like "paranormal". An example : we surely can claim a blind man can't see. Yet some blind people have seen while living a near death experience). And in my opinion, unless we explore something at 100%, we can never claim what is possible or impossible. I know I write a lot, but a last thing. Insanity isn't exactly true/real, I think. We have created a concept called "normality". And when someone goes too far from this classification, he/she becomes abnormal. Remember Archimede, who was considered to have become insane, because he claimed that it's Earth who turns around the sun and not the contrary. To resume, our knowledge is always evolving. Saying something is impossible can become a false statement in a very short time. Also we live in a world where society is falling apart. We claim to be the smartest, yet we're litterally killing ourselves by changing nature so much. And we still think we are the smartests, when there's simple solutions to resolve all of this, solutions that exists since a damn lot of time. I think we're surestimating our knowledge, and underestimating our potential as human beings. About insanity, it's a classification to talk about something we actually don't understand. That's my opinion. I can be wrong.
