The river you met before reaching Kisantu was Inkisi river. After crossing it you went along its left side to reach Zongo falls wich is on the same Inkisi river. Your journey was like travelling a V shaped itinerary. Kinshasa being on the right top of the V and Zongo on the left top of the V, while Kisantu being at the bottom and the Inkisi river running at the middle of the V shape to go meet the Zongo falls. Much love from Iraq.

My wife was born in Kinshasa and grew up there until she was 12. She originally came from a Luba family from Kasai. Her neighbors spoke KiKongo and Swahili, so you are exposed to quite a few languages as a child. It is an extremely interesting city and together with Lagos the largest black city in the world. And Lingala is for me the most beautiful of all African languages. 🇨🇩🇨🇩🇨🇩

the issue is with congolese too.. what is the literacy rates in congo? why are they too attached to anything french? how can you attract investors if the only lingua there is from their oppressors? look at the number of refugees fleeing congo who never come back there.. how many congolese have become bilionaires from congolese wealth? the country is still semi comatose.. and you attract lot of thieves if you are half awake..

It’s known that there’s a lot corruptions going on at the borders… Well, what to expect when the staff wage is extremely low. The containers might not always containing stolen goods or minerals but bare in mind that the Congolese government loses around 15 Billions Dollars a year due to corruption alone.
