That move Melina does there actually makes sense cause if you summon her during the morgott fight, she has the same moveset as the black knife assassins, and that animation is the same as the black knife’s ash of war. Edit: I just noticed in the morgott fight, she actually uses the weapon in the video, so this was definitely intentional and cool attention to detail for a lil yt short

I actually love this given some interesting theories about Melina. Many belive her to actually be one of Marika and Radagon's children, third sibling to Melania and Miquella. If this is true, she may have been cursed by an outer god just like her siblings, and given her constant connection to fire (burning the erdtree which coincidentally is what you can do yourself if you accept the Frenzied Flame, smoldering butterflies, etc.), some have speculated that she was cursed by the Three Fingers to live with Frenzied Flame inside her since birth. This would also explain her clear hatred for the three fingers and frenzied flame.

I feel as if there are gonna be many more elden ring dlc's. I think this because the dlc thats out right now is most likely for thoae who did the default ending(you "marry" Marika and thats it). The dlc doesn't fit with age of stars because the tarnished in that ending is off on a voyage with his or her doll wife. And frienzied flame has Melena hunting you down with Torrent. So if im right we might have more pain, lore, and fun coming in the near future, by God's will.

Honestly, it's difficult to understand which of the two would win. On the one hand we have become the intermediary of the divinity of chaos and on the other we have "Melina" but I don't think that in that ending it is her, in the sense that it is her but the seal of her eye has disappeared, a seal that limited her powers and perhaps even his memories. She could be the gloam eyed queen or a new character as we only see her at that moment. Furthermore, I would like to speculate, the tarnished might even have no will, imagine becoming the puppet of a deity who embodies chaos! I don't think that in that ending that thing is actually us, it might even have control over us, in that state I think we will probably be more like a divine beast with unlimited powers but probably without the light of reason! To destroy everything, the divinity of chaos does not need a servant at her command, but rather an instrument to be able to manifest itself in the physical world. So we're not talking about a fight between Tarnished vs Melina, but about a fight between Chaos Manifestation vs Gloam Eyed Queen or whoever it is
