One of the best items with Trundle is the refillable potion. Everytime you use it, use W. It's not a lot of healing, but it makes the pot more efficient.

I sometimes play trundle top, and I always take corrupting potions first item. Farm until level 3 then do some combos with pillar+Q and heal a lot back from the pots+W lol. Works really well. You do lose out on some damage by not getting Doran’s blade or long sword, but I take grasp too and that also heals you and does some decent damage.

That Swain 1v1 there were several low health minions you could've passive healed off of. Close fight regardless though. Nice game.

That was a masterclass in map awareness, recall timings, wave management, INHIBITOR TAKE TIMING (so subtle I barely noticed it). Like seriously, that was so big brain challenger the way you delayed taking that second inhibitor just to stagger the res timers. Well played sir!

Damn this was a close game. Graves dying almost immediately after getting that last kill lost them the game for sure. He chased too hard. I thought you might have wasted your ult on graves once Swain came in, but your BotRK did good work of him

Jak Sho over eclipse maybe? and a Black cleaver earlier perhaps? Swain got up to like 340 armor....graves gets up over 230, and garen got up to 200+

The eclipse was basically doing nothing for him in this game. I think he just built it on a whim. If he had built Botrk earlier the swain wouldn't have been a problem. Some anti heal is actually what really counters swain. Swain isn't actually as tanky as he seems, he is surviving in fights because he heals A LOT during his ult. He can literally go from 10% HP to almost 100% during zhonyas if like 3-4 people are inside his ult. Buying grievous wounds is the real counter to swain.

Trundle has been the best tower breaker in the game for a couple of seasons now. Its just that a lot of people don't know about it so they rarely play him that way. He breaks turrets faster than anyone else in the game, including Yorick. With 3 items he can basically 100-0 a turret in like 5 seconds. And he has the tools at his disposal to easily run away and slow people if they try to collapse on him. All you need is an Essence Reaver or Trinity Force, Hullbreaker, and Wits End or Botrk and he will melt any turret. You can build all kinds of mythic items for this playstyle, too. You don't really need to go Eclipse. You could do something like Shurelya'a to give you some tankiness and even more speed to escape when the enemy comes to try and stop you. You can basically play a hit-and-run style where you rush in, take a turret, and run away and never actually fight anyone and just win the game by taking every turret. The enemy basically will never be able to contest a baron or dragon later in the game because if they do you will take turrets and inhibs. Heartsteal+Titanic Hydra can work too if you want a mythic that will help you scale for actually fighting champions (helps your demolish rune, too.) Just make sure you always Ult the tankiest person on the enemy team and you can see in this video how tanky trundle can be even though the only durability item he has is hullbreaker. The most effective build for this is probably Essence Reaver, Heartsteal, Hullbreaker, Botrk or Wits, Titanic Hydra. The build order can change like you might want to build Botrk early if you are dealing with tanks often. Or rushing Heartsteal before Essence if you are losing lane and just want to get tankier to survive. All that being said, trundle loses top lane to a lot of enemies so thats why he isn't really played there much. And you will be unlikely to get to full build from the jungle because taking tower plates and FB tower is what really guarantees you get ahead.

Haha i used to play Trinity Darius back in the day (back when Trinity Force still had crit chance. Nobody else used Trinity on Darius back then.) I remember i used to crit for like 1200+ damage with my W sometimes and i would just instakill some people with two autos even though i wasn't even building for crit. Everyone told me i was trolling by using Trinity on Darius, and now its like one of his core items.
