When Symone said growing your own food is luxury and rich I couldn’t agree more.
@bradley7
@bradley7 3 ай бұрын
Its very true, the only reason people have lawns and grass were because of rich people back in the day were showing off how much money they had that they didn't need to grow their own food and such, now there are barely any people growing their own food and herbs and medicinal plants. I'm glad homesteading/gardening is becoming more prevalent among the current generation.

I love how the two of you work as partners. And I love how you show deep respect for each other. Yes, you joke around, and the levity is charming. In fact, you truly seem to enjoy one another's company. You even compliment each other like Symone did today. This is all so good to see. I'm going to watch it again! And on another day, I plan to head over to Trader Joe's! Thanks for the ice cream sandwich tip, Symone. And Gerald, you are a fantastic teacher. Thanks for that, too.

It was very cute. Shows a young couple in love. ❤ Gerald calm personality , corky laugh and how he shows his affection for his wife. Cute youngsters. Keep it up.😂😂❤😊 Symone is shy and seems and supportive of husband. ❤❤😊

Great job!. Vegetables grew quickly. Fresh squeezed carrot juice with ginger is healthy. Beet juice with ginger is healthy as well. Symone your dish looks delicious. You are an amazing young woman! Gerald, can you attach a BUSH HOG to your orange tractor so you could cut the grass quicker than with the John Deere? No AC, did it break? It's probably a simple fix.

@promiseviewacres Yes, Symone, I agree that growing your own food feels luxurious 😊 and one of the wealthiest activities of self-care that one can do.. That big basket looks glamorous on you too, Gurl! Now, you just need the big sun hat with the fabric bow tied around. Continue to be an inspiration and document you guy’s journey. May blessings, abundance, and growth continue to pour down on you and Gerald. 😊🙏🏾

Rain barrel! Hi guys, just a thought, (which I'm sure you probably thought of already) but as ya were eating fresh carrots (with a little dirt on em) I thought "why don't they have a wash station with either a hose or an outdoor utility sink right there by the garden". But God made dirt and dirt don't hurt 😉 Love your vids keep em coming!

The vegetables looked so beautiful and delicious. There's nothing like homegrown fresh vegetables. I wish I had some of that fresh black cohosh right now it's good for hotflashes. I've never heard of it keeping bugs away. I know lavender plants repel mosquitos and gnats. I just enjoy watching you two so much. I love how Symone says how Gerald teaches her to take a breath and slow down. My husband is the exact same way. I am the one who wants to dive in, get it done, and move on to the next, but he steps back to assess the situation and build a plan in his head and it always turns out perfectly. God Bless you both and your families. Until next time PEACE✨️✨️✨️✨️

Why not put mulch around the fence and plant beautiful, fragrant flowers (annuals) to bring pollinators and add to the aesthetics of your garden? Maybe a processing table to clean veggies before taking them into the house. Eventually your harvests will be huge. Check out Hollis and Nancy's Homestead! They have a lot of great ideas for you guys to grow into. I just LOVE your videos, the fun you have with each other keeps me smiling and laughing right along with you. The love and appreciation for each other and your extended family is heartwarming. Your vulnerability and faith keeps it all real. Love you guys. Keep up the good work.
