In a twist of political déjà vu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had trodden the same path on Tuesday, while campaigning for BJP candidate from Kolkata North, Tapas Roy. The Trinamool Congress Supremo finished her 2024 Lok Sabha election campaign with her mega roadshow from Jadavpur to Gopalnagar on Thursday. The problem with all of us is that we are busy splashing mud on each other. Why don’t we focus on Bengal and the government that is currently running it. I have nowhere mentioned BJP here. What i meant here is that instead of allowances and bhatas why not jobs (particularly in Bengal)?! And honestly we all are aware of the ghaplas that the present trinamool government has done day in and day out. They are only getting re-elected due to the allowances. Look at the quality of education among the youths, it has gone down significantly. No one talks about it. The only thing CM keeps highlighting is how to become a muriwala and chopwala. I stay in Bangalore and the year i left my state was 2013, and the matter of fact is that i never wanted to leave, but, alas, I did not get a job that was ready to pay equal to my caliber, and it doesn't end there. There are 20lacs bengalis residing in Bangalore alone let alone the entire country. As far as republic channel is concerned, I don’t watch it. I genuinely like Tamal’s reporting and have supported and followed his channel since its inception.

But since it lok shaba polls i will speak against central govt. They have shown no interest in giving jobs to education people. 2 core jobs a year, which the central govt had promised has not fulfilled. You are talking about muriwala, chopwala, i totally agree with you. But you remember the home Minister of our country said in parliament to fry pokoras. If the central govt could provide jobs then 80 crore People would not have to be given free ration.. I totally agree with you allowance and bhata can never be a cause of livelihood. Jobs are very much needed, but central and state governments are equally responsible for this work.
