I've just come from a month in Europe and the UK. I was happiest when roaming the ancient forests of Scotland for hours upon hours. I've always known my own affinity for nature, but I had no idea how happy it actually made me until I had to return to populated areas of an evening. Cities and crowded places...it's like sandpaper against my soul.

I didn't even know there was an "outdoors" channel. I spent my youth outdoors, with much time spent backpacking the Sierra Nevada's in California. Wonderful to see summer there, as we are moving into Winter. The first rain happening right now . Our area has been in drought and this is the first down pour in 6 weeks. . So necessary for our Tasmanian farmers. Truly a beautiful camping spot.

Love the video. I agree. Since I was a child, I always felt at home in nature. We used to go to the mountains every year for vacation and I loved being out in the green of life. I now moved to Oklahoma and the neighborhood is like living in a forest Very green. I did my front porch and back patio to be very colorful and comfortable with a little pool. So now I am out in nature every day and I do feel a lot better.
