I was laid off my good paying job 5/24. A Minnesota job. Previously I was given a work pass during the pandemic so I was a critical manufacturing worker, and had paperwork to show the police if I got pulled over. Also, notice when asked what Demuth would have done differently for the riots and covid, there was no response. For that and the inability to find at least one positive, I find it disingenuous. I'm a registered republican over 30 years. I lived in MN, from NY, now in FL. I've seen very different state governments. Florida had its moments. Now, it's terrible. I found this: For clarification on his military orders there are several very significant points: I have been deployed from the Reserves several times, so I know how this works. First you get notice (not orders). You will then be given a date to report and put under temporary orders. The military does this to make sure you are not a liability to the government when getting deployed. They make sure you aren't pregnant, make sure you aren't a drug addict and give you a drug test, conduct some medical tests, etc. If you pass this, you are then given your official orders. Walz "retired" two months before his official orders, so he definitely knew they were getting deployed. He was also the Command Sergeant Major so he was the top enlisted solider in his unit, so he would be the very first person to know. Him and the commanding officer. Also, you don't accept a Command Sergeant Major (top pay grade of E-9) position and then retire....UNLESS you retire to avoid going to a war zone, which it appears is exactly what he did. This is also why it is reported that he was eventually demoted to Master Sergeant (pay grade E-8) because he didn't fulfill his commitment to that position.

St. Paul, MN firefighter here. My coworkers and I, served our community during Covid, without concern for our own well being. We entered peoples homes and rendered care, when nobody else would. We worked, because there was no other option. Walz took funds(which were earmarked for first responders) and awarded those dollars to anyone he could, in a bid to purchase votes. In the end $1500 first responder payouts were cut to $400 general checks, that were then taxed! I call BS on this -- a search for any backing info for this was just a letter by police and firefighter unions seeking a bigger cut of the funding from CARES, Act. I don't know much about firefighter unions, but police unions are notorious money grubs. And that "political opponent" was Trump, and that was from a lawsuit that claimed a clause in the 14th amendment makes it illegal for Trump to hold office because he was an “officer of the United States” who “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the country. Colorado made a similar claim, and the US Supreme Court took it up in January and made a muddled ruling in March that said states cannot invoke a post-Civil War constitutional provision to keep presidential candidates from appearing on ballots because supposedly that power only resides with Congress (I did say it was muddled).

From a Texas Senior...Not only did Walz allow Minneapolis to burn for 3 days, but that event caused people all over America to become frightened. The anger and hostility that overflowed into the streets!!!! I live in a very mixed race community and frankly, I was terrified to step outside. I worried the hostility was going to hit my city. And another "frankly" comment...it changed my attitude towards the black race in a negative way. I literally became afraid of my neighbors. That event set race relations back years.
