Well.... this brings back a lot of memories of being young in Japan in the 80s and 90s.

I think it's meant as a sort of "functional museum" if that makes any sense, or at least that's what I've been able to deduce. I can't seem to find any information on the internet about why it still exists, only historical information about what it is. It's a neat looking little place, though. It kind of feels like the equivalent of having one of those floor escalators like at an airport, but it only goes from the living room to the kitchen, merely for the sake of "I did it because I can" lol

From what I know, it's because there are still people who actually use the station mainly for commuting. I heard most of them work at the airport.
0:20 Joe walking down an endless empty hallway was the most unsettling thing I've seen so far this year. I kinda half expected a random elevator to open up and wash him away in a river of blood.

Oh, Sensei Joe is Onigiri Monster. At first I wondered if this place was something used as a studio, not as a station any longer. 30年前言うたらニュータウン、って言葉がまだホットだった頃が全盛期だったんですかねえ……

It’s nice to see what stations looked like when I was little. It brings a sense a familiarity that I wouldn’t have expected. Your videos always bring something and is always inspiring.
