I’m getting a lot of comments about not being able to hear sound in space etc So just to clear it up, yes, space is a virtual vacuum and yes, we cannot hear anything in space. But these sound recordings are electromagnetic vibrations that pulsate in wavelengths that can be recorded and then transferred into audio that our ears can hear. Space probes sent to these planets have specially designed instruments that capture this data, it is not humans going there and recording it with a microphone.

No matter how old I get, everytime I go out at night and look at the stars, I get a funny feeling in my stomach, watching this im getting that same feeling......Its the feeling of awe, Im greateful that im apart of the universe but im saddend that i'll never get to see it, explore it, step foot on another planet, experience a New Earth with its wierd and wonderful creatures etc. It has me wishing I was superman so I could zip off and explore it....guess this is why i love sciencefiction movies so much. It also makes me appreciate our planet, theres so much here for us to experience, explore. This clear demostrates the inportance of protecting what we have!! Beautiful mother Earth.

@@RonyTomo420 That would be quite unnecessary wouldn't it... "God" could have just started with not designing the universe to have giant asteroids flying in earth's direction to begin with. "God" apparently popped up Jupiter to protect Earth, meanwhile he sits back while most of the species on Earth have already gone extinct after millions of years of brutal survival or suffered thousands of years of disease/death which more or less equates to the damage that an asteroid impact would cause. Amazing.

Back in the day was just 2 years ago for me. Me and another lady in the whole county where we live was the only ones left on dial-up. The company told me this when I went in to pay the bill, and said they were going to shut us off. So, I waited a few months and got high speed internet. It was cheap, $14.95 a month, very reliable, but obviously, could not watch videos. Now my internet works about 70% of the time, and pay 4 times more. I still have my old laptop with dial-up modem built into it. Anyway, the sounds in the video do remind me of dial-up.

It is crucial in instances such as this to explain that this is NOT the "sound of Jupiter," but rather a conversion of frequencies into the audio range. It is definitely fascinating to do this process, but it can be done with any fluctuation of any frequency of anything... it is not a sound, nor is it representative of anything you'd ever hear. You can do this same thing with the bumps in the sidewalk, the flashes of light coming through a picket fence, heat variations over a month, etc. etc. etc. It's cool and interesting, but it's not "the sound" of anything.
@domicdom2483

But the fact is Jupiter's storms does make sound, it can't be recorded because the sound it makes cannot travel. So if we were able to hear those gigantic storms, how would they sound like within 100 feet, like a trillion Earth sized tornadoes and hurricanes?
