As a resident of the western US I can say that the zoo's that I have been to here are fairly green. So you putting ginkgo trees in the park is not unrealistic at all. Admittedly we have mesquite trees that are used because they are native to where I live but they are trees none the less. Also I hope frontier represents the US deserts better in the future. They have have green things other than cacti.
@Drew2u2 жыл бұрын
How much shade for guests do the zoos have? I like this map but I feel hot and exhausted just by looking at how much open plaza space there is and how little shade and seating there is.
@gæßð2 жыл бұрын
@@Drew2u San Diego in the summer usually stays in the 70s and all the greenery also helps cool down the park/zoo so the lack of shade is not so bad but the lack of seating is something you wouldn’t see in San Diego
@max846782 жыл бұрын
@@gæßð as someone who use to live in San Diego for most of his life its a bit of an understatement. The summers are normally in the 80's actually so shade is a most appreciated necessity in the area. There are also areas that are rather dry and arid so while there is a lot of places that have green like The San Diego Zoo or its site B The Safari Park, the bigger/more open areas of those parks tend to be less green and more dry (probably due to the cost of water). Something that is also a nice detail in her park is how hilly the area is as both of those kinds of places have a lot of hills.

I agree. As a San Diego resident, the Zoo and Wild Animal park are covered in lots of trees! Lol I’m actually a bit disappointed in how they made or the geographical placement of the “San Diego” zoo in this game. Lol non of it is realistic and it doesn’t make sense quite frankly.

With you around, it’s always ‘Giggle-lots-o-saurus’! “Around the Jurassic Park gate, the gigantic Giganotosaurus jigged!” We’ve been on as many great tours as a rock band. Your subscriber count is as big as the audience for a decent rock festival, 117k at last count. It’s unbelievable how this channel has grown since you hit 100k in May. You could hit 120k before the week is done and then 130k before July is over. “Amazeballs!” is an expression that springs to mind! Before I forget, KZbin asked me to review some of your videos, including the franchise future video. Needless to say I gave them all 5 stars and I ticked all the best boxes. If there’d been a text box the reviews would have been so glowing they would have been visible from space! Keep up the good work. Hope the bunny is ok.

San Diegan here ( also, daily driver is a Jurassic World truck. ) Great job on all of this. This actually looks better than the still we saw of a potential San Diego park in The Lost World. You mentioned something about "running in the desert"? Based on the JP2 concept art and where they showed it briefly on a map, it would actually be extremely close to Sea World, maybe on the border of Sea World's property line. The weather there is always 10 degrees cooler than everything else around it, sometimes you need to bring a jacket because it's the only place that's cloudy and cool. Obviously it's your park, do as you want, it all looks great but if it were located where JP2 said? It's by the ocean in Mission Bay.

i really enjoy your designs, it seems like with every park you build you have something unique to show. What i also noticed is that you play the vanilla game...and still you also have the bugs and glitches that were present at launch. You think frontier will ever adress those issues....because its really damping my mood when playing, i use a few mods...but dinos keep escaping, always the flying ones...anyway, awesome park!
@EvolutionSquare2 жыл бұрын
I don't experience too many bugs. Right now the only bugs I have is select dinosaurs phasing through barriers (here it was the raptors and the Geosternbergia, in another park it were the Maara's), which has been present since the first update I think. And the lagoon viewing gallery bug has been since the previous update. They don't bother me too much. I'm hopeful they'll get fixed.

It's really unfortunate how the game's performance suffers when you get deep into the completion of a park. I've had that happen a couple times and it kills my motivation to continue on, but I'm glad you were able to power through it to create such an amazing build! On a side topic, what are your computer specs like? I've been trying to figure out whether to upgrade my processor or my graphics card first to help with the game's performance, but I'm not sure which to prioritize. Do you have any advice?

I'm a newbie to this channel, and to playing JWE2 (though I was obsessed with the first game a few years back), and these videos have really inspired me to put proper effort into creating aesthetic parks rather than just filling maps with dinosaurs. I've already made one sandbox, and though it pales in comparison to this, it's far better than anything I made in the first game. It's probably been explained in previous videos, but what settings are being used for the sandbox? Specifically re: dinosaur comfort, fighting, etc.? With my park I kept comfort on (and starvation/thirst, escapes, combat, etc.) for a realism element, but it has meant my herbivore exhibits tend to be so full of vegetation nothing in visible. Anyway, aside from that question, I just wanted to say this is awesome and inspirational 🤘

It's beautiful park! I've gotten better at not flat mapping everything. However, I am terrible at making elevation for looks. I tend to lean on practicality and less on appearance. I do like hiding the back of my buildings if I could. One of my sandbox, but with having to manage money, research, etc I did try channeling my inner Evo to make it a practical but beautiful park within confines of the research and money. Let's just say it needs work. Anyways, great park as always.

Hi Evo, going to watch this later on but wanted to tell you my prediction for a feature in a future update! I reckon that eventually...we will have unlimited gene modifications for our animals in sandbox. Because like now, you might have to spend a few points to negate a negative trait, like large appetite or short lifespan, sickly or antisocial. But soon I think maybe we will be able to modify our genomes so that your animals can have 100% chances of being strong, defensive, fit, long lived, quenched, humble, tolerant, all that for maximum customisation. You might also be able to apply negative traits to your animals as well, you could make something which is sickly, needy, intolerant, unfit, weak, vulnerable etc. I don't know if this will ever happen, but it would be cool if they (Frontier) added this to sandbox. 😃

This would be an absolutely fantastic feature for sandbox

I like to make full blown safaris in sandbox, boxing in the tourists and having a majority of the map's space for for the dinosaurs to freely roam while people ride around in gyrospheres or vehicles. Having multiple areas fitting the needs of many of the creatures you are wanting in the safari for your tourists to see. I do try to keep carnivores distant from the herbivores to prevent predation with feeders to keep them from needing to snack in the other dinosaurs.
