i thought ellerbe was just playing the game when he spoke of the $1b but here is he speaking like it is actually true. $1b was an 8 yr deal, $125m a year for 16 cards a year. They clearly restructured that deal after the 2 yr period, covid happened, the market changed and matchroom no longer do 16 cards a year in the US. they have a new global deal though and eddie's fully comitted so i doubt the relationship with dazn is cold where they're not paying him. Tank fought Barrios at 140 and when asked about Josh Taylor who was Undisputed at the time Ellerbe said "Josh Taylor brings nothing to the table"🤣🤣 This isn't about whether I think Tank can beat Taylor or if Taylor can beat Tank its about making the biggest fights. You cant say it wouldn't have been big because number 1 its for undisputed and number 2 Taylor has a whole country behind him. Tank could of probably been undisputed at 140 and Im not even gonna go into the fights he avoided to make at 135 its obvious.
