Wait for the retrace into the IFVG for an S tier setup, dont take trades only based upon the one confluence being the IFVG, make sure to include, IFVG then retest then rejection from that zone, then break of strucutre and thats the best entry you can get, 85 percent win rate with a 15 ercent loss rate on bad days

@@algebruh7695 you can still use the break off strucutre part of the model to take the trade, its just that if price does retest the IFVG and doesn't get rejected do not take the trade because its ultimately a fake breakout, then market will sweep your stop loss then continue in the original direction you were hoping for, essentialy sweeping early buyers.

if you have multiple FVGs, climb up the TFs until it turns to 1 FVG. then wait for it to inverse

dude why tf didnt the first IFVG today in AM session work on the 1m? @9:34 EST 1/30/2025 i was so confused and pissed. but i guess there was a 5m FVG below we were respecting. didnt think it would be relevant or hold.

That 9:34 IFVG did hold, it sent price higher over 100pts. before closing below. Oh you meant the 9:27 IFVG, that was a bad idea to go short there, the sellside was way too close for bad RR and their were still REHs above that needed to be swept.

Technically, with dodgys strategy you would have been stopped out BE once those RELs were taken

It was a bad FVG to inverse. If you want to short a FVG it has to be in Premium. The one you took was too far into discount already, so the trade was going to be improbable. Also, mechanically that short needs to go Break Even after it took out its Swing Low, so though it was a bad iFVG it did technically work.
