Just now realized that Terran's ability to pause construction is unique amongst the 3 races. Not sure why I never thought about that before. In this game, Flash paused bunker construction at 99%, ready to finish it quickly if needed, then canceled it when it became apparent it wasn't needed. Flash, he da man!

The other race essentially auto build. I guess zerg consumes a drone to build anything. But you think of it as part of the cost of a building. You see terran leaving a bunker at 99% in a few pro games. It is pretty rare, but it is a nice optimization. I wouldn't try that on the ladder; not good enough.

Kickback is quickly becoming one of my new favorite maps to watch. There's no weird gimmick like the assimilator destroying for blocking or just varied terrain. Putting a game's economy on it's head in a way that isn't "fastest map" is a hell of a lot of fun to me.

@@TheSuperappelflap plus zerg is usually way less efficient in the early-mid game so having the second and third base run out so quickly wrecks their mid-late striking power quite a lot on the other hand the map is quite open and muta-friendly

2v2 or 3v3 inevitably end up with teams of zerg rudhing each ither with 4 billion zerglings. There were 2v2 on The Hunter when i started watching pro StarCraft back in the day (2008 maybe ?). It was super boring honestly. The game is simply not balanced for those matchups, or rather we haven’t come up with maps to balance 2v2s

I used to play a lot of Fastest Possible Map the first few years that I played Brood War. This map plays out a lot like Fastest because you have enough minerals to 3-base with a single choke. I started playing more low money, but it always seemed unfair to me, since I am a Terran main, because you have to be God tier at this game to TvP against decent opponents. While it is similar in Fastest, once you get good at blocking splash drops, the game in TvP seems a lot more fair than it does on maps like Fighting Spirit or 2 player maps where you get your gas stolen every game. I might come back to try this map out.

Artosis not sure if you read these but this is a good example of how you could have pressured the protoss in your game. Flash doesnt siege all his tanks he sieges like 2 in the middle but otherwise is focusing on getting the the protoss base before they can get too many rounds of production

Man watching your videos makes me sad in a weird way. I've loved this game ever since I'm 4 years old and now as an adult, I feel there's little room for me in the way of becoming a commentator or expert. Taking breaks also increases skill levels . You stream too much therefore you play too much and a break is much harder for you because he doesnt have the G i mean spotlight on him. Its a long process to become the greatest again, hes still far from becoming the greatest again, and i think if he becomes the best we will have to create a new title like "ascended goat" or something
