Not sure of the point of this video concerning Rolex who releases new model or updated models that no one can buy. You can only purchase a new Rolex from the grey market or after market for twice the price. As an owner of Rolex who would like to add to my collection I'm getting bored with Rolex and all the hype when I can't purchase one.

George, you should have started this video with a recap of your 2023 predictions and what Rolex actually released. Since you aren't a Rolex AD, you cannot get into trouble with Rolex Inc. Personally, it does not matter what Rolex announces, until they fix their availability issues, my attitude is should anybody really care?

They aren’t going to “fix” availability issues. They are high end, much like Rolls Royce. They are never going to be massed produced. It’s about exclusivity. They produce a million watches per year. They are a charity organisation. It’s always been the same it’s just that in todays climate of social media including KZbin it’s served to make demand outweigh production.

I'd love to see an Explorer 2 with an Oysterflex strap. I know they will need to make a clasp with SS instead of precious metal, but they already have a SS clasp on the current oyster bracelet so how hard would it be ? If they would introduce this I would snap in up as soon as I could, I think it would be a success.

I think most of us know. It's the same every year. Same watches with microscopic tweaks at a higher price, probably higher than it might have been given their $100 million fine in France for anti-competitive practices. It's been a yawn fest and I don't expect it to be any different in 2024. But, we will see.

I'm almost certain there won't ever be a coke bezel. The rumors are that the red section of the Pepsi bezel is too difficult to manufacture consistently when combined with other colors, which is why allocations are even more limited than the Daytona.
