party chat will do that especially with discord being on console and switching between party and voice chat is kind of a hassle also you can’t hear ur homies if ur partied up while they’re on another game once you go to game chat. PC has push to talk so i can be in discord with the boys and press a button and speak in game. that’d be my guess at least

Works for heals if your quick enough, if I’m upfront I usually say something like “fighting left side” so my healers know I’m engaged and will most likely need heals IF they listen

definitely not useless but it’s different than something like val or cs because so much can change in an instant so a lot of the callouts become nullified but a lot also get value and result in kills that could have gotten ignored without the cons
