I have the same issue. Something that I am starting to realise, with every person that I have a hard time getting off my mind, is: they all represent some part of me that I need to reconnect with. Instead of resisting the thoughts, try going deeper. Where in the body is this coming from, what images comes up? What feeling emotion does this person create in you (beyond resistance).
