Mom even said she doesn't anymore believe in the grooming stuff even if she believed it for a while. Also it sounded like the reasons they Kyles and moms relationship is strained is not only the girlfriend but also "mistakes" the mom has made (whatever those were...). So yeah, there is age difference etc. but not as bad situation as it was made out to be.

Then you have to factor in agent's cuts, accountant fees etc and he's probably actually holding maybe half or so of that original guaranteed money. So he's guaranteed to make maybe 6-7M off the contract over the span of 3 years. So yeah, not a very smart investment considering maybe 5%-10% of 2nd round and undrafted players ever even get a second contract
