This is what Brock Purdy does. One big thing most are missing, is that the embarrassing/lucky pass (that's sarcasm) caught by Aiyuk off of the defender...the refs only picked up that PI flag because he caught the ball. That was going to be a PI penalty & they score anyhow...Brock most likely threw a ball that was going to hit Aiyuk in stride had he not been interfered with. I'm hearing just about everyone make fun of Brock for this play, missing the reality completely.

Brock Purdy plays a lot like Tom Brady or Joe Montana. When the 49ers coach said next season if they get Brady to come back you're sitting behind him. They know if Brady just teaches him for a season or two, Purdy who is already killing it, will be learning from the very best and become even better than he already is. Idk why everyone doubts the kid all the time and underplays his success. Idk why everyone doesn't call him a game changer. He quite literally makes comebacks all season long. He takes shots and he makes great plays with the ball. He WINS. I'm not a 49ers fan, I'm a Chiefs fan and Patrick Mahomes is a different kind of beast, but Purdy is the kind of beast that plays a lot like Brady. He was the last pick of the draft, but who also was super duper late in the draft with zero relevance? Tom Brady. Who also winded the clock down and kept possession of it for far longer than the opponent? Tom Brady. Who also made amazing comebacks all the dang time? Tom Brady. Who also threw 10 yard out routes and then would bomb it deep to catch his opponent off? Tom Brady. Nobody calls Brady a game manager. This was a heavyweight fight and I appreciate how both teams went for it and I agree that Campbell shouldn't regret anything. There have been SO MANY TIMES when Niner fans wish Shanahan would've done the same. Congratulations to Detroit Lions fans. You guys had an incredible season that exceeded everyone's expectations. You said you don’t know why purge took the -3yds on the last play. He needed to take 1-2 seconds off the clock because there was that much in excess time after the delay penalty. Safest was to retreat and then go down.

That comeback was very "Game Changing" from a "Game Manager"....

Didn't the lions kick a fg from like the 3 recently? Hows that consistency with going for it on 4th?

I don't think Dan Campbell stuck to his aggressive guns. I was ready for him to go for it on 4th down just before halftime. Would have been 28/7. Then just kick field goals from that point. All I can say is thank you Dan Campbell !!

If Gibbs doesn’t slip on that 3rd down play before the half he scores easily too :/

Let's not ignore the REAL fact that since Brock took over that game when Jimmy G went out, Brock is 25 - 5 when finishing the game. Let's give the kid some much deserved Respect.

@@MarkelScott100when he completed that pass to Kittle with a guy blitzing right in his face I knew we had something but I didn't know what that would be. Truly impressive. He made a pass against Detroit that was reminiscent of the one I just mentioned. It's not a fluke.

Dan Campbell is a miracle worker. Coach of the year IMO.

He is quick. His 10 yard split at the combine was 1.55s. Lamar Jackson was 1.54s. He doesn't have the top end speed of a Lamar but he is very very quick.
