Hey guys 😁✌️ I don't have dual as my parents thought it was not necessary at the time, but we can work and live in the uk as we applied for our residency. I think that's a good idea, being from a EU country has a lot of perks ✌️

What a lovely kampung! It's weird seeing your kampung is like concentrate into that little town. A modern high-rise apartment could probably fit all the people in your town. Also the way you guys shot the vid feels like you are rushing through the town. Still a great vid though. Can't wait to see you guys cooks Ayam Masak merah.

What a wonderful video depicting actual Portuguese small town life as lived by lay Portuguese people! Most insightful. Tx u so much for sharing. I am truly enjoying your “my Portugal” mini series. No fanfare, no touristy hype, just Portuguese life as lived. I sense the Malaysian Malacca vibes in your vlogs. I have been to Lisbon & Porto, all very rushed carousel spin. Very atmospheric. I must spend some time in rural Portugal, maybe your village, next time, maybe after my Frances Camino trek from SJPP across the Pyrenees, to Muxia. Will travel from Muxia into Portugal.

Young people move out of the village and finding jobs in the city. Seems not just a phenomenon for Portugal but Malaysia too. Perhaps many other countries also face the same predicament. Capitalism tend to favour cities than villages. And of course the allure of individual freedom that city provides always a captivating factor for young people. Love from Malaysia.
