There is a way to fix corner camping and bring back 3rd person to the game. They should implement raycast vision so when you try to peek behind corners by sticking your face to the wall the area behind the wall is grayed-out so you can only see what your character's eyes are seeing (like in Project Zomboid or Aliens: Dark Descent)

If it's because people can stand next to a wall and see down the hall, then why not make it where a person would have to lean up against the wall and peek down the hall if you're in 3rd person, but to just take it away is dumb.
