If Chelsea play midfield 3 then yes, he's good but we still need Caicedo for the CDM position. He's not solid enough to cover Enzo who already lacks defensive capabilities. But Pochettino loves to play 4231 which left no room for him, unless maybe if Poch pushes Enzo into the no.10 role considering that Nkunku is out injured rn. Him with Enzo on the double pivot won't change anything. They're both vulnerable defensively. Don't trust me? Go watch Pythagoras in boots about Lavia, you'll see why

While Caceido seem to be a better ball winner, Lavia is more of a complete midfielder. Lavia's creativity in the midfield gives him an edge over Caceido. Both players are pacy and intelligent. For me, i feel Lavia is a better option in the midfield when compared to Caceido.

In 4-3-3 formation, Lavia, Caceido and Enzo can perfectly feature in the 3 midfield role, but in a 4-4-2 formation, only one of Caceido or Lavia can feature because there will be need for wingers like Chukwuemeka, Sterling, etc.
