Those are some valid points. But the most important ingredient for success in social media is "genuine passion" towards what you are doing. Authentic passion will trump everything else. Whether somebody is filming their progress of gaining skills or the multi-million follower travel food blogger, it is their passion that garners people's attention. It's why I started watching you. 👍🏻

Yeah I can see that. Sometimes fake-ness and charisma can be mistaken for passion, which is why I’m a little hesitant to agree with you. Or people might be passionate about gaining viewers or attention. Or some people might not have charisma, or skill but can still do bad even though they have huge passion I do see what your saying! I just can’t fully agree But it definitely is important!

I really appreciate this. The RIGHT advice usually is what I give people. I take pride in telling people they NEED to hear not what they WANT to hear. which is a bummer, because people think im just an asshole. but in reality "work on your own technique/ style/ skill" is the most thoughtful and genuine advice i can give i cant stand people who try and prop themselves up as an expert and claim they have the secrets. everyone needs to create their own secret recepie
