to be honest, eldlich archetype is a good concept and I like it, the thing that most people (and me) hate are those floodgate traps such as emptiness, imperial order, skill drain, and other similar things.. that is why most of the floodgate are either banned or limited on tcg and ocg

I hate the birbs more that Eldlich. At least you can do some plays vs. Eldlich (Called by the Grave, Maxx C, Ash), but with the burbs, once they get their one card or two card Combo, it is GG, especially if they summoned the Wind Barrier Statue.

I went up against this type of Eldlich deck, I manage to get pass Vanity Emptiness, but I lack the ability to draw the out against Skill Drain, sad times. Btw, I was using Arcana Knights, that Eldlich player had trouble against me and it took over 10 turns before I ran out of plays to protect myself.

but almost everyone can banish eldich, eldich do nothing on the field and need spell or trap to revive, it quite balanced. unlike dpe, revive with no resource and activated when destroyed so if you go second and call of the grave it will still revive something, 1 card distrub, but you kinda have to run 2 garnet tho.

In all honesty if i have to vote for who id rather win between the zombie deck with 1 main deck monster or a branch of konamis worst mistake itd b zombie all the way and only reasons he was mad was because pendulums need to special summon they cant win unless they do. @@KreuzDrache This is not the reason, the actual reason is that Konami refuses to update the master duel's banlist. The game is following most of the ocg banlist but a old banlist (for example, vanity was only banned in the ocg in the latest banlist for what I remember). Other cases of cards that are recently banned in both OCG and TCG: - Verte anaconda. - VFD. - ZOO drident. - Imperial order.

OCG? Mr. Kataoka: 　Since it will be a game in which duelists from all over the world will play against each other, it will be the original limit regulation of this work, which is neither Yu-Gi-Oh! Most hated deck? Nah bro these decks that keep on comboing playing solitaire with themselves for 10 minutes are much worse lol. Just having to sit there watching your opponent play a game from which they are going to exclude you with all their negates is so much worse. At least eldlich's turns are over within 2 minutes so you don't have to sit there for what feels like hours.

well Eldlich's first graveyard effect is return it to the hand, then you can special summon a Zombie. Vanity emptiness pretty much splash+able as long you use spell or something you can discard easily, you know it destroy itself if a card send to your graveyard right?

I play a Lock Down Deck with Vanity, but that is one way to keep the Special Summons down. I want this game to be played as it was intended 20 years ago. One Normal Summon and 1-2 Special Summons.

I used to play Eldlich exclusively, and the reason was because I got tired of sitting there for a 5 minute combo. Eldlich isn’t even hard to beat, which is why I stopped playing it. It’s been the better part of a year since this game came out, lol. Learn to adapt or quit whining 🤷🏻‍♂️

@@diffdimgamerseven9986 omar thought the destruction effect for Vanity's emptiness referred to ANY card sent to the grave would destroy it. But it states on the card: when a card is sent to your graveyard. Meaning his belief that by using deagon's revine to send a dragon to the graveyard would make it so that Vanity's emptiness would be destroyed. But that is not the case. He's seen the issue and has cleared up his misunderstanding which is understandable if you dont often run the card or if someone he played against either played in a way for that misunderstanding to occur.

But I will say that now that everyone is playing flunder, it delights me when your wind statue gets kaiju’d, or Eldlich removed from hand, or your entire turn gets shut down with droll. Anyone who ragequits in general is just looking for an auto-win. Literally whining about floodgates while using a literal floodgate as an integral part of your “strategy”, lol. That’s rich.

I stopped playing eldlich a few seasons ago, but every time one of the new decks comes back, I come back to it and laugh at the fact that there just isn't much critical thinking involved in plays. I did know that it would shut down flunder, and that everyone would be playing it, so I played my deck accordingly. No hard feelings or anything :)
