I feel like the actor knows martial arts very well. His move is so clean and fast not looking awkward at all. I just wish the drama have more fight scenes.

The hand to hand fighting with the punches and kicks in this drama looked so real! I don’t know if it was the choreographer, the director, the actor, or all three…but wow! A lot of times I’ll skip over fight scenes in cdramas because of all the CGI or embellishments that make it look like dance scenes I’ve watched a hundred times but not in this drama.

I completely agree with you. I usually fast forward the fight scenes in C dramas. With this drama, I rewound his fight scenes several times. He executed the moves flawlessly as if he is fighting in real life. Sadly, the drama has not been promoted as much as it should. Even my husband was impressed with his fight scenes.

Very clean moves, smooth, sharp and very fast…. What I like is his demeanour….very calm and relaxed at all times…..and the top of the top he has a killer look and a voice that can take you on cloud 9….. he his just perfect

@elishaarthur8160 it has a few fighting scenes. The drama is not toxic between the FL & ML. They have good communication & a healthy relationship, and there have been no misunderstandings so far. The story focuses on family & redemption, how one can lose everything but still regain it all back through hard work & perseverance. The moral of the story teaches us that when you lose your wealth & status, the people who stick by you are the ones who truly & genuinely care about you. The FL & her family were put to shame when they lost wealth & status, their friends of high status were embarrassed to associate with them - they hit rock bottom & learned to be humble. Also when they were wealthy, they were selfish & looked down on others. After they lost everything they had no one else to rely on but their own family members, which caused them to be closer & create a strong bond. The female lead is portrayed as strong & independent, her grandfather raised her and took her everywhere with him when she was little, which defines her character as she gets older. The male lead is the crown prince & and raised by his uncle, who is also the Emperor. He is very loved & spoiled by his uncle. Meanwhile, the female lead faces the wrath of the very same emperor. My favorite dramas are: 1. Blossoms in Adversity 2. Love and Redemption 3. Generals Lady

Worth watching for HYT 3 different roles. I skipped some parts and got to the end but I returned in total 3 times to watch the skipped parts and realised those were important conversations.

@@kels1009you are correct. The script in this drama is so well written that you shouldn’t miss any part. I rewatched the drama and realized that every dialogue and every scene has meaning and importance. I watched it in two different languages and I think I covered the story well. This drama is worth every minute of your time. I am planning to return for watching it again.
