I love that community garden that's full of herbs, which Vietnamese food is known for. Love the awesome platters full of fresh veggies and herbs that often come with many Vietnamese meals.

We loved Hoi An. When you are headed to An Bang Beach, if you turn right at the intersection just before the beach, go straight for about 10 minutes by bicycle and you can find Hidden Beach, which was also quite secluded. It wasn't hard to find and despite the name, it was on Google Maps.

Hoi An is indeed amazing. Truly love those greenish rice fields, so soothing to the eyes and that organic farm is incredible. Hoi An is known for its purest herbs in the central region or at least in the Danang area. Their herbal fragrance are out of this world and very defined smell and taste

Lemon grass is also a mosquito repellent. I have pots under my front and back stairs here in central Queensland . Seems to be working well…v little mosquitoes and I haven’t seen a snake yet! Great tip! 🐨🥂

I love Hoi An already - by air or train from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City (main hub). I think Da Nang is adjacent to Ho An, right?

That’s a tough one to say.. they do use peanuts in a lot of dishes. I think more westernized restaurants will be able to understand your request for nut-free but it’ll be a challenge with local vendors.
