I’ve used the 2024 hourly planner exclusively this year and I love it!! The column size didn’t bother me and I’m a huge list person so the space on the side for my weekly list was nice. I definitely would keep the book binding (love that) and the colors for each month are nice (but I’m sure there’s a way to do color without tabs 😊). My one suggestion would be to make the weekday start consistent. So either a Sunday start for the month and week, or a Monday start. I’m a Sunday start girl and I would have loved a Sunday start to my week as well. Either way, consistency is helpful as I often make mistakes copying from the monthly spread to the weekly spread. Thanks for making awesome planners and inviting us into the process!!

It's wonderful to hear that you're using and loving the 2024 planner. Everything you said is super helpful and I'm definitely taking note. Thank YOU for your amazing support and feedback xo

I LOVE your 2024 hourly layout and think you nailed it as is! The roomy lined list for to-do tasks, the way the weekend days fall on the right-side page and the work week is all together on the left, and how nicely the new 3x3 habit tracker notepad could integrate beneath the lined list is perfect. Functionally, it has worked better for me than any other planner I've tried in keeping both work and home tasks organized in a clean, simple way (and I've dabbled around with a LOT of the top companies' planners). I sometimes abbreviate a bit in the timed columns, but haven't felt cramped at all. The changes to the 2025 samples' cover and monthly page look fantastic, though! That being said, I'm glad you pulled the plug this year if you weren't feeling confident. There's nothing wrong with taking a timeout if your gut is telling you to pull back since it's such a big investment. Thanks for such a fascinating window into your thoughts and design process with this video!

That's so helpful to hear! I'm so sorry its not going to be available this year, AND I really appreciate your grace and understanding.

I really liked your hourly layout last year. I didnt mind the colunns not being 1.5 width because they are in EVERY other planner. I liked having more room for tasks
@sproutedplanner3 ай бұрын
This is true! The wider columns definitely take up that task list space.

I might be in the minority, but I love your daily/weekly hybrid iteration. I don't mind turning the planner on its side if it means i get the real estate i need. Really unique and functional layout ❤

I agree. It's a unique layout and would work well for someone like me with limited desk space

It’s really interesting to hear your thought process on the hourly. I didn’t buy your first iteration, but I did think it was really interesting. It just didn’t seem practical to rotate the book. I did buy the 2024 version, and I have a few thoughts. The columns do feel narrow. I prefer the 1.5” size. I prefer the wider columns and a more narrow to-do list section. The stair-step tabs are so pretty and functional. For me, they set your planner apart from other hourly planners that have no tabs or a ribbon. I feel like overall the planner could be bigger. I LOVE the look of your 2025 sample. It’s so classy and beautiful. I like the updated layout. The only thing that looks sort-of off to me is the spacing of the lined areas. I think it’s because the lines are wider than the grid maybe? I really hope this planner comes back for the academic launch. I LOVE your monthly layout and the new dashboard is great! Book bound planners are my favorite. I love how much you listen to your customers! You have a beautiful lineup for 2025. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for the hourly in the spring! ❤

Honestly, I'm a daily planner girl. BUT looking at that very first layout you did was so unique and seemed like it offered so much planning real estate. I wouldn't mind turning the planner. I LOVE the look of polka dots and the book bound just seems like it's so nice in hand. I'm no help, just full of thoughts, lol It was interesting to see the design process.

You would have me sold every time with the white & black polka dot covers! I’d love to have that as an option again sometime! 😍 And I really love how you used grid within the columns! I don’t usually go for hourly planners, but I totally would for a grid column! I think your layout for this year was excellent! I would also like it coil bound like the other planners. I know that was mentioned in another comment. I love coiled planners. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!

It was so pretty! NOTED about wanting it as an option again. Great feedback on the grid column and coil. It's so hard to know bindings - some people loathe spiral and others love it. Thanks very much for your support!

hello, this is a thought about your marketing emails, not the hourly planner. It would be awesome if you included the actual release date on your launch emails, not only "4 days until" because I usually don't read promotional emails the same day they arrive - i batch-read them. And so I'd have to go looking for the actual date, instead of having you give me the information. Just something for next time; thank you for listening.

You'd think that would be a given, right?! 😂🤦🏼♀Definitely added. Thank you, Emma!

I am looking for an hourly for my weekly this year. I am a little disappointed that you don't have it for 2025, but I respect your decision to wait until it is just right. (I am very excited to buy the Sprouted Daily again this year.) Here are my thoughts: Book bound is a must for me - hardcover or leather-like, as well as the year printed on the spine. I like the 1.5" wide hourly columns even if it makes the notes column smaller. I really like the lines at the bottom of each column. I like the layout of the very first one you made too, but I think having to turn it sideways would not work. I tried the Passion Planner this year and I liked the columns set up, but did not like having the check boxes/ Space of Infinite Possibility under the columns and no extras spaces/lines at the bottom of each column. I also did not like the grey time columns. I like to use a colored highlighter to time block. I like the look of the Hemlock & Oak Weekly Planner. I need the times to go from at least 6 am to 10 pm as well. I hope you have a great hourly ready for the 2026 launch! I would be happy to give more feedback if you come up with another design and want customer input.

I actually LOVED the first hourly concept. The size, the amount of space, etc. It would have been what I would have gone with probably if it were still made (although the weekly is of course my one true love now lol). But I think your choice to slow down, focus on what sells best and really put your energy and business behind that to really help get these products in as many hands as possible is a smart choice. I think that if you were to attempt an hourly going forward maybe have a detailed survey put out that has examples of real formats so you can make a really informed decision from people who use that type of planner. If you made a book bound version of any of these planners I would love it. But it isn't a deal breaker to not have them in that format for me personally.

I have the 2024 hourly. My favorite part is all the extra note pages in the back!! I use them all the time 😀 I never use the reflection pages so I just skip over them. I’ll be on the lookout for the 2026 hourly! Thank you🙂💕

I consider myself a list maker and a visual person that my draw back with many hourly planners is the lack of ability to write my daily list. And then add them in the timeline. I actually like the first layout better even if meant twisting but afforded more place to brain dump. Maybe you could poll ppl and ask how many to do space would they like to see in an hourly planner. I think 7 is a nice cushion under the hourly section and for additional space you have the side bar. Just my thoughts.

What if you make it coil like the others. Would it then work like the other planners/tabs?
@sproutedplanner3 ай бұрын
That's definitely a thought. I think it depends on the design, but I feel like hourly planners thrive best when they're bound. I seem to get more feedback from my hourly users saying that book bound is a must.
