22:09 "struggling with that left turn there" > right-hand tire pressures are lower than your lefts (because of Monza's predominant right-hand turn characteristics). Maybe increase tire pressure for the rights on your next stint? And with lower fuel levels in the rear, the car gets nose heavy.

Close racing, very nice! Doing an (ACC) league at the moment, and it is so much more fun compared to daily races/regular races. People are just a bit more invested in making a real race.

How do you all choose your cars at the beginning of the season? Do you base it on BoP? Or just your favorite car? Or by feel of the car? Personally, I choose my first car based on feel when pushing and my overall fastest laps, and then a back up car based on how consistent I am in it which is usually slower over one lap vs my first car, but more consistent overall. I dont' personally think about BoP unless I'm getting destroyed on the straights. The Ferrari and Audi have been my go to 1st cars since I feel like I can find the limits when pushing. The merc has been my consistency car if I find myself making too many mistakes early in the season, and I need to be careful.

this is what we do it for! hell yeah. getting that position in the end was the icing on the cake, but even without the icing, this cake was made just right :) from seeing your face go red to the sweat drops to you saying "I've got to lay down now", it's so relatable haha. that's how you know you've had a great race to be honest :) grats Dave!

I watched the broadcast and was on Abdul's stream at the same time. Poor old Abdul had to take an early pit and ended up saving fuel like a crazy man. He ran out of fuel on the last lap just coming round parabolica and had to coast over the line. Those last 2 laps were epic to watch on the broadcast, so it was nice to see them from your point of view. Good racing Dave.

Okay nice race and all but how is it even remotely possible for a GT3 car to brake at approx 115m into T1 at Monza. IRL they brake at 150m on the hottest of hotlaps

@@davecamyt Yep all the braking zones were much shorter than with the usual 0 wing open setup. I found it very hard to get used to the whole race. And the 2nd chicane was just horrible for me.

You're way faster than me, but you take way more curb than I would ever consider, more than the drivers in front of you and more than that racing car would ever survive in real life. Your Porsche is thrown around forcefully by running over the curbing but you still seem to handle it routinely lap after lap. Interesting
