Ooof, you definitely need to go to Options>Settings>Graphics and set your Graphics Quality to low and uncheck every Advanced Settings box. That should help the game run smoother. Also, if your system's cluttered with files like videos, screenshots, and documents, you might want to declutter by moving the files onto an external hard drive, USB, or just delete what you don't need. I'm glad playing on mobile's an option, but there are inconveniences, like how you can't turn your horse, control your camera, and jump at the same time since it'd require 3 fingers, and I think the game only registers 2 at a time. If mobile's good enough for you, by all means, keep playing on it. ^^ If you're thinking of upgrading or getting a new PC/laptop, make sure it has: - 32G+ RAM(Random Access Memory) - A processor(CPU) of at least 2.5 GHz (3.2 GHz+ is nicer.) - 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor (Helps if you have multiple things open, like when you're trying to record a video while playing a game or if you have music playing in the background; so it doesn't lag.) Don't be intimidated by stuff you don't fully understand if you're not tech-savvy. It's actually easier than it sounds and parts click into place, so it's not like you have to weld, rewire, or program anything. In the end, it's worth it not to have to sit through all that lag, and with a mouse, you have better control in games. (It is possible to attach a mouse and keyboard to your phone with an adapter, just so you know. They make mini keyboards too.) You've got the internet at your fingertips and I kinda already did your 'homework' just listing the 3 main things to look for anyways. You can see what you currently have by going to System>About. It'll be listed under "Device Specifications." Take a picture of it before going to a tech shop like Best Buy or somewhere to ask for help because that'll help them find a product/part that's compatible with your system. TLDR (Too long, didn't read) Upgrade your PC/laptop or buy a new one, making sure it has 32G+ RAM, 2.5+ GHz, and a 64-bit operating system. Take a picture of your Device Specifications (Found in System>About) and show it to someone working a tech shop like Best Buy when asking for help on reducing lag. They'll need this info to figure out what best suits you and your budget.

@@luminousbug5585 No choppiness when recording using Bandicam or anything? My games tended to lag if I went lower and it often made a difference in a game's outcome, depending on the game. Haven't had issues since I upgraded.

omg thank you for typing all of this, i honestly appreciate it! i don't mind mobile but like you said above, the PC version is just so much more accessible. i never really play on mobile unless i'm making a video because my phone gets really hot, it's uncomfortable, and the controls can get really annoying sometimes. i made this video as more of a joke because i know the computer i have now is not very good, and recording on it just makes the quality worse. but i've thought about getting an actual gaming PC for awhile now. it's just they're just so expensive. so SSO mobile will have to do until then :P but thanks again for the info! i'm definitely going to try this out. :)

@@caramelfudge17 I feel ya! I grew up with slow, laggy computers/laptops. At times it would take me a minute or so just for a web page to load. There weren't many options and 3D games on the internet were still unheard of. I used to want to own laptops for life exclusively because I liked being able to take them places and if there was a glare on the screen, I could adjust it. I've had my ASUS gaming laptop since I graduated high school in 2013 and it still runs smoothly with its upgrades, but for work, since I'm studying Game Environment Art, I needed something more powerful to render my work and not cause Maya and other programs to crash so often. My dad somehow saved up enough money to surprise me with a BEAST of a PC plus upgrades and 2 monitors for my birthday the other year because he saw how hard I was trying to make my laptop work even though it didn't meet standards for my chosen career and some software was so powerful, my laptop couldn't even handle it. I thought my laptop was smooth at least game-wise, but after seeing how beautiful games could run on the computer without lagging on the highest possible graphics settings AND recording while also having an art program open in the background PLUS KZbin playing music, I didn't want to go back to using my laptop as my main device. It's still great for travel and being able to sit anywhere in the house with it of course, but for art, recording, and competitive gaming, a computer is the way to go. My PC is a Dell, but the monitors are ASUS and can be positioned vertically or horizontally, which makes it feel like I have 3 or 4 monitors sometimes, which is a blessing since I don't have to flip back and forth between references, documents, and school videos on the tall screen while working on something on the wide screen. (A lot of other brands out there are also good and I'm sure there are better things than I have, but for Star Stable, I don't recommend a Lenvo laptop because a friend has one and sometimes it causes the screen to flash as if it's briefly exiting the game. No one seems to know what causes it and the weirdest part is it's not even lagging. It's just struggling to keep the game up front even though nothing else is running. If anyone has a fix, that would be amazing. We've tried everything and each time, we're just told it's just the laptop being weird.) I never thought I'd have the luxury of owning anything like this since my family and I don't have much money, but my advice after having experienced all this is to invest in stuff you use on a daily basis, and hold off on less important things because when you're having a rough day, that'll be one less thing adding to your stress and it'll save time on the long run. This can apply not just to PC or digital devices, but other things in life. Look for things like tools that allow you to be more productive, because if you can do more, you can earn more and such investments can pay for themselves on the long run. If you find yourself lucky enough to make money on KZbin, then a better PC will serve as a better tool. I paid $600 for my gaming laptop, I just upgraded the ram and the storage space myself! You can find something around that range that'll run SSO smoothly. I'm roasting mine though because I play REDM LOL Just make sure you look at the graphics card always lol cause some are just awful and even with enough ram or physical memory you gonna get shit haha

You should also look into building a pc! You can save a lot more money doing that than buying a pre-built one. Best of luck to ya
