Hi people, i graduated in 2023 and after completing my BCA from a tier 3 college , joined HCLTech as a GT-Graduate Trainee . We have a bond, also called service agreement that doesn't allow us to leave the company for 1 yr . If we resign , we have to pay a penalty amount of Rs. 50,000. I am working on a non-technical project as a service desk agent, also called IT support person. THIS IS THE WORST JOB ON THE PLANET . HORRIBLE RULES, NO FUTURE SCOPE, Working here has been the single worst decision of my life , i have completed 6 months and have 6 more to go. Just waiting to get out of this place Asap To all people reading this, never fall for a brand or bond , it will drain your mental peace & physical health as well. And in return , you have nothing in hand, absolutely nothing, Never ever join HCL as a GT. This is my personal view, I know it well , people in their final year of bsc or bca would eagerly be waiting for their joining dates(if u have applied) You are a step away from a nightmare.

Actually by CRT training is going on in java.. So it is necessary that I will be deployed in java project only. Or I can select my own domain where coding is less required.

Mostly everyone gets deployed in the field they are trained on. You won't be asked about your preferences but still you can ask the manager that is aligned with your batch.

Learn bash scripting, ansible and cloud computing as you progress in your career. It will help you to grow professionally. In OJT they will not make you work a lot, but try to grasp what your seniors will explain to you. Take initiative and ask as many questions as you can.
