People forget that Gerard always really kind of thought moshing and stuff like that was dangerous and not cool. He promised our concert sundaes if we stopped, it was a joke, but he really wanted us to stop. He didn't stop any songs, but he really made it clear to us that he did not want it. I could only imagine being on stage and trying to perform and then all of a sudden you see somebody getting really hurt. Damn. I love this guy.

I've only really listened to a grip of songs by my chemical romance and when I heard the band broke up I was almost neutral about it. I am so thankful for Gee. He saved my life. He saved me from myself. The thoughts I used to get, they stopped. Gerard is literally my favorite person if it weren't for him I'd be dead today, i love him so much. Gerard is amazing, he cares about us, and encourages us to be ourselves when you feel like you can't be. He's a fucking angel on earth and we're so lucky to know about him. MCR is amazing, Gerard is amazing.

This man is a huge inspiration for a lot of people, myself included, and I look up to him so much! He and the band taught me so much and taught me that it's okay to feel down sometimes, and that I am nowhere near alone, and I want to thank them for that, from the bottom of my heart.

My best friend just died and i got really depressed and suicidal to the point where i would hide in my room and every night i would cry myself to sleep, i tried so hard to forget but i couldn't until i found MCR. MCR was the only thing that made me happy it cheered me up when i was down and it took me to a place where i could forget that she wasn't here with me anymore. MCR saved my life
