Don't beat yourself, it was a recorded video,who knows how many takes he did before getting it right. You can tell he isnt a pianist, nor is he brilliant with music theory. He's just playing by ear really. Also its not realistic approach. By that I mean, if you truely wants to grow and work with artist or anyone for that matter..takes lot of back n forth until you get it right. To make a really good and unique beat takes time, n lots of processing, especially if its from scratch. Ppl that tend to make beat in 10min, 5 or so, are just youtubers focusing on content instead of production. Its fun, like I said, gives you content. However, if you truy wanna be good at this, learn to take your time n learn.
