Explaining what led me towards buying a Kubota tractor.

I remember little Kubota’s coming into western North Carolina and tobacco fields in the 70’s. Now they’ve gotten so big - giving JD, MF and CNH competition. With Allis Chalmers long gone, it’s nice to ride down the highway and see an orange tractor back in the farmer’s field.

I was never a big fan of Kubota until they came out with the M6800’s. Those in that age and size range really started putting Kubota in the game. But when it comes to pre 2000’s tractors I’m die hard Massey still. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!

Owned a 2003 m6800 for years. Cab ergo was great, and besides batteries, it was a maintenance dream. Tight turning, quiet, and easy on fuel. Sold the farm, and the guy got the tractor with it

My best friend’s dad bought a small kubota garden tractor in the mid 70’s and was the only one in our community. He took took a lot of ribbing about that foreign tractor. Fast forward 45 years ,my friend inherited the tractor after his dad passed. The little tractor is still running strong and everybody wants one. His dad was a visionary!🤔

Kubota tractors are really popular around here, it helps that there is a Kubota dealership nearby. They are a good tractor for sure. Take care

Yes we have 3 Kubota dealers within a couple hours of us as well. Have a great Weekend!

A 4000 hour Tractor is like a 4 year old car with just 80,000 miles on the "clock". That baby just got "broke-in" but looks like an "old rental". The " Quickie " loader is what Massey-Ferguson uses. Best wishes with the New unit, and keep the old one for a spare. Thanks for the great Vidio Sir and happy safe tractoring.

Your M6060 videos are one of the main reasons I bought my new M6060 and left the big blue tractor company .... Kubota Really should help promote you! I Only have about 50hrs now but so far so good....

I hope your well satisfied with it and it gives you good service. I sure wish Kubota would do something, if nothing else send me some filters 😆. Several people have told me they purchased an M series partly from watching my videos. Watching this ole M6800 sure sold me on Kubota! Thanks

Enjoyed the video - I do believe that Kubota makes a quality product. Unfortunately, every manufacturer will try and cut corners to increase profits. I really like my little BX overall, but the fact that Kubota decided to use plastic for the hood and fenders was a big mistake. Most everything else is pretty good.
@khtractors3 жыл бұрын
I didn’t realize that, my BX has a steel hood and fenders. Did they just switch to steel with the 80 series BX or do you know? Thanks for watching!
@botabob3 жыл бұрын
@@khtractors - I believe the 60 series had a metal hood and fenders, but the lower bonnet that surrounds the engine is plastic. 70 series is has metal sheet metal. Glad to hear you have metal sheet metal. I had to replace all of the plastic on my little tractor. The fenders alone were $500+. I like to tell anyone looking at a used BX tractor to buy one with metal sheet metal. I usually live and learn the hard way.

That was quite the wedding chariot! 3000 plus head dairy down the road from us used a kubota L6060 that pretty much runs non stop i believe ive heard it had close to 8000 hours on it, it pulls a bedding blower for the cows. Im not positive but it may have the same V3307 that our tractors have, which is also in the KX080 excavator which comes with a good reputation. Despite my injectors needing replacing ive been nothing but happy with both kubotas.

They definitely make very durable equipment I think. Your going to find random problems with any brand. Thanks for watching!

Do you ever have trouble with the clutch I replaced one last spring and think I’m going to have to put another one in.
@khtractors Жыл бұрын
No that M6800 had 5,000 hours when he sold it last year and still had the original clutch. How many hours are putting on it in a year?
