Totally agree about impact nades and the GLs Yeah they're "cool" and the PMCs would definitely have had them, but in a full loot game that's supposed to emphasize being tactical weapons that you literally have zero chance against even if you do everything "right" aren't fun. The bottom line is that while nobody likes losing, people *hate* losing when it feels like there's nothing they could've done. Even with random snipes there's "well I shouldn't have stayed there so long" or "well he got lucky" or "I could've juked and jived better" but with the impact nades/GL it's just like your life was forfeit the moment you rendered on their screen.

I've been playing around in offline mode...scavs will ALL rush you as soon as you kill one of them. Go Reserve, put scavs to high count, take your rig off and wait anywhere on the map (except the dome) an they will hunt you. Also with high count setting as soon as you kill one, another will spawn like 10m away and instantly rush your last position. This just keeps going as you kill them.

there is a setting to make whem all hunt you off the get go don't gotta take the rig off or anything, sometimes i enjoy that mode more then actual tarkov haha, kinda teaches you how to loot quickly and effectively when you know another scav could turn the corner any second, at least thats what i use it for as i feel im a pretty slow looter

scavs that are tracking a T&C'd player have increased accuracy against that player, so... Pest getting immediately pegged in the arm from that far away, it's unfortunate but that's how BSG coded it. According to google anyway. (typing with an immobilized middle and ring finger is rough.)

​@@Verdia it's a lot to learn at the start but you'll get it eventually. I'd had someone help me at the start and I've taught 3 other people how to play. Always scav, watch guides, take it slow and use guns you're comfortable with. Never change up how you play once you get better gear, if you're slow and methodical don't start sprinting once you get a nice m4. Best of luck my dude 👍

Being tagged and cursed when you come in with a pistol is just stupid, especially with how dangerous the AI can be under normal play now. Even with just a knife it's questionable, there are several other things that make hatchet runs not a thing anymore for most players.

Like the FIR system, the AI being more dangerous (and broken) than ever, the number of scavs that spawn now. If they're going to insist on tagged and cursed then at least make it just with a knife. There's no reason I should be punished for taking a pistol in, when it already puts me at a disadvantage. I was there years ago, I know how the game has changed.

Sure it's possible, but it's literally easier to just run your scav now that scav Karma is a thing. I can almost guarantee if they removed ToC you'd only see a couple people try it, it just doesn't make sense anymore if money is the objective. And again, I'll repeat, I think it's unnecessary, but I'd still be fine with ToC for knives, I just think it's totally dumb for pistols.
