6:24 reminds me of a scene from the movie “God's Not Dead”…sometimes the devil allows people to go through life without any struggle because he doesn’t want them to turn to God, it’s like their sin is a jail cell and the door is wide open but the sin is so comfortable that they don’t feel as though they’re in a jail cell, but eventually the time will run out and the door will shut and it will be too late to turn back…amazing movie, if anyone is reading this and hasn’t seen it yet, I highly recommend watching it (I’m referring to the original film from 2014 in this comment)

I don't think "trial" should ever equal "bad time, sucky sitution, unanswered prayer, etc."in our minds today. After the revelation of Jesus, the Biblical description and response to trial is always one of great joy. If we find ourselves putting God in the hot seat for our circumstances, we have missed the mark. "Why is it like this, God?" is a tell that we are in doubt and we have let the situation exalt itself above what God has said. Our response shouldn't be a questioning or pleading to God, but instead that we have an answer based on His unshakeable Word. You hear people today saying that way too many Christians blame the devil for all their problems, but those same people blame God instead! (yikes) We must be careful with the "trials" we attribute to God's hand. Slapping God's good name on an evil situation is very close to blaspheming the Holy Spirit (Matt 12:24-32) Like when the pharisees called God's good works evil. God didn't kill your baby or give you sickness to teach you a lesson! What good father would do that? We want others to believe the best about us, why not believe the best about the source of Holiness Himself? Regardless of the circumstance we can have great joy, because we have the answers (promises, examples, etc.) in scripture! It's our job to stand on them so that the genuineness of our faith may be made evident and so God's glory can be witnessed to those without hope. (1Peter1:6-9) Notice in this example that the genuineness of faith is present before the trial, and the trial simply proves that it was already there. Let's not get tossed around by standing on the sands of circumstance, but instead be unmoved from the rock of Truth. This is what Paul is describing when he says "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."(Phil 4:13) Great video, brother. Keep it up!

Thank you brother! I agree we can't blame God for troubles, and if He sends a trial, His word tells us it's for our benefit and because He considers us sons.

The trial persist as long as God wants. Our attitude may or may not be a factor in it. For some...it ends only at their last breath.

To clarify, I’m still currently in a time of waiting, but I’m out of the trial because often times the trial, feels like a trial due to perspective. When we learn to die and find joy in the trial, the trial disappears from your mind. That’s why the Bible talks about us being seated with Christ in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:6). On this earth we will have trouble (John 16:33) but through Christ we can be over-comers in the midst of it. Life is always going to be trying but when we are in Christ, we can walk above it. Hope that makes sense :)
